You usually supply those with ILR, during naturalization no evidence of residency is requied I applied on the 14th of May. On 29th of August my caseworker sent me a letter that she needs evidence of residency for the first year which I sent on 3rd of Sep and they received it on 4th. Still waiting T...

Nothing prevent you from phoning them. They have contact centre for these reasons. In my opinion calling them wont speed up the process at all

ILETS is your ideal option because the results are much quicker than ESOL. Check Cambridge English website for more details. the Home office requires B1 level in English

There are Many people applied before 21st of May and did not get approval. So do not worry you are not the only one

If you want to travel to live abroad then she should really aim to get British citizenship first. Returning resident visa is not great if she will be outside for more than 2 years, if you will be living outside of the UK aswell then its very hard to argue that you are a tie for her

They mentioned about this letter ( that they need 72 workers from UKVI) two weeks ago. Its not the whole workers there and everything still as it was, just expect to take a week or two extra because of staff temporary relocation. I called 17 different NCSs in different town, they all said that they never heard about this, they even have cermonies planned already for July and people booked already.

Maria1981 I can see that you applied through Brighton NCS which I called and they said this is not right.

No caseworkers from nationality team will be transferred to passport office, people should stop making up. They wont sort out a passport backlog and create another one for naturalisation applications. Home office staff said they heard nothing about this lie.
