Visa Extension

Hello My workpermit is expiring soon and I am wondering if I can apply for extension to stay so that I can travel more of UK and Europe. Do Home Office give that privelege? Is it a valid reason? How much period of stay would I get. Is there a minimum period that Homeoffice give on this visa? What al...

FLR refusal on work approval

The approval issued by the incountry team is only valid when you are legally in UK. I don't know if the convocation is a condition to get the FLR on workapproval. But if they have refused FLR then You will have to leave the country and get a workpermit to get Entry Clearance from India. I don't thin...

Switching Employer

Hello friends, I got my Workpermit and EC recently. Got a short term workpermit (2 months). Paperwork for Work Permit-Visa

Hello!

I have been told by my employer that they have received WORK PERMIT from WORKPERMITUK which they are sending it to me in original so that I can take it to the high commission in my country.

Can anyone tell me if I need to take any other paper from Employer to support my application.

CHEERS!

WP switching

Kayalami, Thanks a lot for your feedback. I really appreciate this. 1. State funded Organisation

Kayalami, Organisation is not a commercial one. Have one or two non EU employees but on permanent basis. It is more of Art and Cultural organisation funded by the State. My project was specific requiring aesthetic and techinical inputs with some timeline but could be flexible. It took a long time to...

Thanks Kayalami, the inputs are very helpful in making 'right' decisions. **The work for which I am being employed is short term 2-3 months.** Kammy, Your WP is valid for 6 months from issuance to get a visa. Does this mean the 'WorkPErmit Approval Letters' issued by 'Incountry TEAM' is still VALID ...

hi kammy, is your visitor visa still valid? because if you are overstaying, that would not be good for your work visa application. NO. Re: Impact of REFUSAL - FLR -Anyone

Thanks Bani and Ashwin, Why did they refuse your stay after granting the workpermit? I was a student and extended my visa towards the end of my education so I got 'Limted Leave to Remain'. Thanks for your message. If one returns back to the native country does one have to apply for the work permit again or the work permit issued by the incountry team would be valid within the time given by them to apply for visa at the British high commission.
