Hello Mods & experts, we are a family of 4 members (me, my wife, daughter and son) and all of us are British citizens with OCI cards. My younger son is aged 5 and his british passport is going expire on 11 nov 2019. We planned to make a trip to India from 20th July to 4th Sep 2019. But as per th...

Thanks noajthan & others for your replies!

Sigh of a relief - I got a letter today asking me to book an appointment for Interview. I did not get My original certificates yet and no Text messages about application progress.

So we are on the same boat. Please update here any progress with your application and I will do the same.

Hope both of us will get response soon, good luck! :)

Hello I applied for British passport on 14/4/2016 via Postoffice "check & send services". Until now, I did not get my Original certificates nor any letter/response from Her Majesty's Passport Office. 1) I see few members here mentioned that "PP application reached date", how ...

Re: Naturalization application & address change

Thanks again. I applied for Naturalization through NCS on 17/12. I moved to different house (rented) yesterday so would like to inform Home office about change of address. Re: Naturalization application & address change

Thanks CR001 for your quick expert advise :) Alternatively, a week before you move, set up royal mail redirection and then notify HO of change of address. It would probably be easier and no risk of missing post if you apply after you have moved. If I plan to apply "after I move", won't I n...

Hi Gurus & Mods, We got our ILR on 26th June 2014 (through PEO appointment) for me, my wife (main applicant) & our daughter (born in India aged 9 years). We also had a son who was born in UK(DOB = 22/2/2014) who already got British passport. My wife and daughter applied for Naturalization an...

Re: Naturalization queries - Please help

You will need to wait until December 2015 to qualify for citizenship as 5 years residence is the criteria. You will only qualify sooner if your partner is already British after attending ceremony. Thanks CR001. I heard that my wife can also apply for our daughter along with her application (unlike ...

Re: Naturalization queries - Please help

Thanks fwd079 for the reply. Answer to Q2 in FAQ Thread is bit confusing. My wife (Main applicant during ILR application) came here in July 2009 and I came here to UK in Dec 2010 along with our daughter (dependents didn't complete 5 years yet). For Naturalization, can we all 3 apply at the same time...

As my son is not eligible for OCI yet (becoz we parents still didnt get british passport), its better to wait until I, my wife and my daughter get british passport and then apply OCI for all 4 us, Am I right? 2. 1. I don't think that's a problem 2. You got visa on 20th sep 2014 (future date)? 3. Submit whatever you have for ex: tenancy agreement from landlord, bank statements (personal bank accounts), gas/water/electricity bills if any, voter id, driving licenses etc. 5.why that so? should not be a problem ...

There're lot of Ltd company directors who got ILR and shared their success stories here. A simple search would bring the below which are very useful. http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefinite-leave-to-remain/ilr-approved-solihull-25-april-2014-limited-company-director-t163271.html http://www.immig...

My friend (on T1-G) got ILR without any problem who prepared an excel sheet with date of entering and leaving UK with page numbers of Passport stamps. He did not provide any absence letter from any of his employers. His absence was less than 180 days.
