Re: Is it legal for me to leave Ireland?

Anybody? :)

Would really appreciate a quick thought if its legal for me as EU citizen to return to my home country even if there is a court order against my husband related to his Stamp4Fam application.

Thanks guys, I am really grateful!

Is it legal for me to leave Ireland?

Hi all! I received some great help here before, so I will try once again! My husband (non-EU) and I (EU) came to Ireland last summer. He applied for his Residence Card. During the process he has been charged with providing a fraudulent passport, naturally it has not been returned to him. There has n...

Police shows up at applicants house

Hi all, my husband (Congolese) and I (German) moved to Cork about 2 month ago. We submitted his application under for a Residence Card to the EU Treaty Rights Devision around the end of August. We have not heard back from them so far, but they informed us that currently it takes them about 5 weeks t...

Re: Need advice on getting permanent address in Cork

Did you have any luck so far? My first thought that got into my mind as you mentioned that your father could rent a place for you was: That will be complicated with the visa application. Let me quickly explain why: Depending on the country of origin your wife will need a Visa C to enter Ireland. Aft...

Hi all, a couple of weeks ago my husband and I moved from South Africa to Ireland. He is Congolese and I am German. Currently we are in the middle of the application of his Residence Card in Ireland - we will only receive the outcome in 6 month. In a few weeks my husband want to go to London for the...

Re: Non-EEA national joining EU Spouse - help!

Hi, I am not a pro like a lot of other here but I am currently in the middle of the process of applying for a Residence Card for my non-EU husband (I am German) here in Ireland. As my husband is a citizen of an African country I can unfortunately not help you with your first question. With regards t...

Re: Need advice on getting permanent address in Cork

I moved to Cork a couple of weeks ago with my Non Eu husband. We came here from South Africa - so I can seriously relate to your situation. In addition to that we moved here with a dog - which made things even more complicated. I know a couple of people who stayed in Kinlay House in Cork for a coupl...

Re: non-EEA national - when to apply for GNIB card

Thank you very much for the reply. So far it makes sense to me: As soon as we get the letter from the Eu Treaty Rights Devision we need to go to GNIB to get the Stamp 4 so he gets his visa C extended until a final decision on his visa is made if he gets the 5 years or not. But what about the GNIB Ca...

Re: Irish embassy in South Africa / rights of EU Citizens

Thank you guys! I didn't see your posts earlier as I thought I might get a mail or so ;) So quick update: After complaining to the Ambassador as well as to the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service they started processing my husband's visa. Since the application is in the system of the Irish ...
