Re: Urgent - Tier 2 employer switch premium service online f

For the information of other readers, I have been told that "The reason that the form isn’t providing the option is because the Home Office haven’t quite caught up yet with having the online form available for premium appointments."

So only option for me is the paper form.. ughhh!

Re: Urgent - Tier 2 employer switch premium service online f

Hi ksadoc, I had indeed made the payment via https://apply.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/iapply.portal for premium service as that was the only option available. Then I went through the second link you mentioned https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/tier2-general and filled the online applicatio...

Urgent - Tier 2 employer switch premium service online form

Hi, I am going through an in-country switch and opted and already paid for premium service but while filling the online form here https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk I can not see an option to choose premium service. URGENT - Tier 2 in country switch - wrong SOC code

Hi, I am in the process of switching employer under Tier 2 General and my new prospective employer just assigned a CoS for me today. I noticed that the SOC code they mentioned in the CoS is 2134 (IT project and programme managers) whereas I think that the description matches more with 2136 (Programm...

Minimizing travelling costs in the UK

Hi members, As you all know travelling is so expensive in the UK. I want to know if there is any cheaper option for me to get to office from my home. I need to travel daily from Leicester to London and I am using the National Rail for that (which includes tube travel as well). I have to pay ~273 pou...

185 day rule - driving licence for Asian national on Tier 2

Hi, I am an Asian national who entered the UK on Tier 2 General visa with 3 years validity. It's been less than 2 months I am in the UK now. Can I apply for the provisional driving licence? I am not clear with the wordings given by the DVLA regarding the 185 day rule. Does it mean: 1. I should have ...

Re: Tier2 Salary Requirement and Employer's Flexibility

Are the following ways not viable at all? 1. Updating the salary in the existing job post whilst keeping the job post date the same. 2. Paying the difference as a bonus amount, relocation expense etc. and/or revising the salary after 3 months to 45K under the process of completion of probation period.

Re: Tier2 Salary Requirement and Employer's Flexibility

I have a related question here. My RLMT job post has the salary range mentioned as 30-35K GBP and is due to complete 28 days tomorrow. Meanwhile, I negotiated and my employer has agreed to pay me more (approx 45K GBP). Is there anything that can be done to save me from another 28 days waiting period...

Re: Restricted vs Unrestricted CoS

Ya, as per validity based on duration I am sure it will be valid but just worried about the address mentioned on it since I have no relation with that address anymore. Although I am also positive that it should remain valid because going through X-ray is something which should be avoided at all cost...
