Re: Held at airport due to previous refusal

I hand the same problem I showed my Brp card and passport when I came back from my back home country they checked the system then asked questions to my husband when back to check the system everything was fine. Ok. So. Was it because of a previous refusal? and if so, did it happen numerous times or...

Held at airport due to previous refusal

Hi experts! I came back from holiday recently and while entering the UK the immigration officer was looking at my passports and BRP. He looked in the system and found that I had a refusal a couple of years ago. He said that he needed to do further examinations according to the system and took me to ...

Re: New passport. Requirements?

As I said, its optional. If you want to be sure, you can report the change of passport using the change of circumstances form available in the link you've posted. 1. Yes, your employer will need copies of the new passport for their records. I dont think they will have to report anything to UKVI. 2....

Re: New passport. Requirements?

Change of passport need not be reported to UKVI. Your visa (or BRP whatever is your case) still remains valid on your old expired passport. You need to carry your old passport along with the new one each time you travel. If you are still keen to have the visa on your new passport, you also have the...

New passport. Requirements?

Hi fellow members and experts I am currently in the UK as a tier 2 general worker My home country has updated its passport format/design and by law I was required to renew it, meaning that the old passport is void and I just received a new one with a different number. I wanted to ask: 1. Do I need t...

Re: Tier 2 extension - salary

This is for new applications, HOWEVER.. to your second question, I would say YES. By all means let your sponsor know that you're expected to be paid at an experienced rate in the near future. The sooner they're aware of and actioning on it, the less it will be an issue when you have to extend your ...

Re: Tier 2 extension - salary

Use this to your advantage... Great to time to ask your employer for a raise asap. Why employees would be hoping for a lower minimum is really beyond me. Anywho, have a look at the current official guideline (not web articles) and, more importantly, the specific rates for YOUR SOC code. is this rai...

Re: Tier2(General) Salary Thresholds -2017

I think the question is whether the 30K threshold applies to Tier 2 workers who already have their leave and are being paid a lower salary (?). i believe their situation doesn't change. Only at the time of application for further leave they need to show a salary of 30K or higher or 35K or higher for...

Re: Company Merger or Change of name? Companies with same ow

I understand that during the request the license of company A was surrendered. However, I was informed that the email from UKVI mentioned mak...

Re: NewPension Scheme

Hi experts

Just to clarify, as the workplace pension scheme is a requirement for employers. Whether this affects how the T2 migrant's salary is perceived by UKVI at the time of ILR or a sponsor visit.

Is it better to opt out of this?

Thanks!

Hi fellow members and experts, I just wanted to ask again regarding this. I am ch...

Re: Excessive Anual Holidays and Settlement using Tier 2 Rou

I think, the best option is to take such letter from employer at the time of changing/switching employer. One letter PER employer (if you switch sponsors) for absence. It is not a letter PER absence period. What happens if your previous employer(s) are not active anymore / not in touch with you / f...

What happens if your previous employer(s) are not active anymore / not in touch with you / fail to give you a letter for X.Y.Z reason?

Re: Limit to number of Tier 2 visas one can have?

I have been exploring the possibility of changing jobs and therefore sponsors, which would mean applying for a new Tier 2 Sponsored Work Visa. Is it correct that this would not be possible, and I need to stay in my current Tier 2 Sponsored Work Visa until 2018, when I can apply for ILR? Ok my asser...

Re: 10 days vs same day service [urgent]

I have used both. I believe same day service is a better option. If your case is complex and they feel they need more time they will hold your application regardless of which service you've paid for. You state that you're not sure whether your application will be successful or not, which is the only...
