Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Write an email to the complains department at the HO requesting an update of your application. Also ask them if they require any additional supporting documents to process your application. If you have already emailed them before the six month period, you should email them again. Congtrs wishmaster....

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

Applied on 12th May, set(m), postal service. Almost after 6 months wait, decision is still pending. Is there any other Set(m) May applicants who still didn't get a decision? Or is it just us alone? Applied on 12th May, set(m), postal service. Almost after 6 months wait, decision is still pending. I...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

It seems long but not out of the ordinary, you should check the the HO... Was everything straight forward in your opinion? It was a pretty straightforward application. However, the only problem was that the caseworker entered the details incorrectly in the biometric letter. After we called the HO, ...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

If you phone the home office to know the progress of your application, the telephone operators may keep a log of your calls. However, your caseworker won’t be keen enough to check how many times you have called. So it won’t help your application to process any faster or slower. The worst thing is th...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

My wife applied on 12th may through set (m). We called the ukba, and they said its not completed yet and we should wait. We will call them again after couple of weeks after the six month period is over. I think there are a few inefficient (or new recruits) caseworkers dealing with set (m) applicatio...

Re: ILR postal applications (excluding SET(LR))

My wife has applied for ILR via SET(M) on 12th May, 2014 through postal service. Still no decision from the HO. My wife phoned the HO couple of days ago, and they said the application is still in process. Seriously, how much slow can they get? We should have paid for the premium service.

Re: Biometric Notification Letter Delays

Did you phone the UKBA and ask them for the letter? or did they sent it on their own?
I have sent the application on 14th May and received the acknowledgement letter the following week. But I didn't receive the biometric notification letter as of yet.
