I was given a 2 year extension, rather than 3 years. So, I wrote to UKVI and they extended it to 3 years. Hi iubus2005...

I have sent an email to complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk, but no reply yet... Received an acknowledgement that complaint will be handled within 20 working days which will be over tomorrow... so just sitting tight for now and waiting...

This is great... I am in exactly the same situation myself, except that my 2-year extension was issued more than a year back (April 2013)... It seems quite embarrassing to chase it up as a complaint after so long.. :( But I will try and keep this forum posted... Let us know when you get your documen...
