Re: Overstaying Confusion

Thanks again iworker. I still haven't received my passports back and I'm really hoping that they did not get lost in the post as this would be absolute disaster for me!

I can't seem to find the contact phone number for UKVI to inquire about this. If possible, could you help please.

Overstaying Confusion

I applied for an extension for T2G on 7th May 2014 as my visa was expiring on 8th June 2014. Home office rang me on 2nd July 2014 and told me that my documents are in the post. I haven't received them yet, hopefully I should have them by tomorrow. I believe that it would be refused since my employer...

Re: Manci, Please help

Thanks mate ... you're right!. I am indeed badly in need of legal advise as my case is getting really complicated unfortunately. My employer has tried to hire a legal firm and my manager told me that the solicitors said that they can't take over this case yet as they need to run some sort of checks/...

Re: Manci, Please help

How did you apply for an extension when you could not have had a COS from your employer? Your immigration status.: that is a good question. There is no certain answer to that without HO confirmation. When the first PBS licences expired the approach to companies that did not renew was varied. The co...

Manci, Please help

I was issued with a Tier 2 General Skilled Worker Visa on 20th July 2011 and it was valid till 8th June 2014. I applied for an extension for leave to remain on 7th May 2014 and from what I have heard, it's likely to be refused since my sponsor's licence expired on the 27th Nov 2012. The authorising ...

Re: Switching from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 ICT Long/Short t

Thanks aja for clarifying this for me.

I understand that the authoring officer/Level 1 User can set up several departments or sub companies on SMS? Would the parent company/sponsor be able to take over and sponsor me this way by issuing me a new CoS for T2G extension?

Regards,
Kevin

Re: Tier 2 General Extension

Thanks a bunch iworker. Your response is very helpful.

My company's sponsor licence expired in Dec 2012 and it seems that we would need to make a fresh application to be a sponsor again but it's worth a try!

Kevin

Switching from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 ICT Long/Short term

Dear all, Just a quick question, really! Is it possible to switch from Tier 2 General to Tier 2 ICT Long/Short Term? I know it is for the other way around. I would like to join our parent company which is registered as a seperate A-rated sponsor with UKVI and wondering if this is possible and if the...

Re: Tier 2 General Extension

Thanks mate for your advice. I'll definitely have to seek the help of an immigration consultant as there isn't much room for mistakes anymore. My company is basically part of the currently licensed company (Europe) and is an A-rated sponsor in ICT and T2G. Moreover, I initially switched my immigrati...

Tier 2 General Extension

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I'm wondering if someone would be able to help me out. I made an application on the 9th May 2014 to extend my Tier 2 General Visa which expired on the 8th June 2014. I used the same CoS details in my application as I did for the T2G intial application three ...
