Re: Missing salary slip for ILR

Thanks a lot for your responses.
So effectively that means that I cannot work without the BRP even if I have the approval letter. I thought since the sponsor itself has issued the CoS they can track and verify if the visa has been issued against the CoS. Is that not the case?

Cheers,
Ashish

Hi all, I recently switched to a new Tier 2 sponsor and got my approval letter same day in a premium service appointment centre.Expecting my BRP to come in a week or so I resigned from my previous company and was relieved in a week. However my BRP card arrival got delayed by more than a month and I ...

Re: Tier 2 ILR salary requirements

Thanks sagareva.
I believe that effectively means that the salary considered for ILR is the one on payslips and not the CoS. Hope there is no specific limit on the salary increase?

Can someone please confirm that the salary limit for my SOC code will 35K in Jan 2017?

Cheers,
Ashish

Tier 2 ILR salary requirements

Hi all, I am a software developer on Tier 2 General visa under SOC code 2135. I am due for ILR on Jan 2017. My current CoS specifies a salary of 31.5K but going through the UKBA site and the shortage occupancy list I feel that I will need a salary of min 35K to apply for ILR as I am not eligible und...

Tier 2 General sponsor for Non IT sectors

Hi, I am looking for a Tier 2 sponsor for my friend who is in Transport and logistics domain. The list of tier 2 sponsors on UKBA site is huge and does not differentiate between what kind of industries are sponsored by a sponsor. Does anyone know about any such sponsor or can guide me where I can lo...

Re: Do I need to tell UKBA if I renew my passport?

Thanks. I saw on page 8 of this Change of Circumstances form: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/300948/CoC__Migrant__04-14.pdf that it mentions change of passport should be informed. I believe this would not involve getting a new BRP issued, just a details upd...

Re: Passport re-issue and BRP query

Thanks a lot peppekalle, that was really helpful.
Would you know what happens if we update the UKBA with the new passport number, would they re-issue the BRP or simply update their records and we can keep the original BRP as it is?

Cheers,
Ashish.

Re: Do I need to tell UKBA if I renew my passport?

Hi Viralts,

I am in a similar situation as yours and was wondering if you did inform the UKBA of the re-issue. If you did, did they re-issue the BRP or you still have the original BRP?
Would appreciate your help on this. Thanks.

Cheers,
Ashish.

Re: Passport re-issue and BRP query

Hi peppekalle,

Thanks a lot for the response. But it's not clear that if I get the BRP based on my current passport and then later on get a new passport re-issued, will I have to carry both old and new passports along with the BRP or only the new passport will do.

Cheers,
Ashish.

Passport re-issue and BRP query

Hi friends, I am planning to get my passport re-issued in London as my passport is going to expire next year. I am on a Tier-2 General visa since 1 year but plan to switch to a new Tier-2 sponsor soon, but can postpone it for a couple of months. I have two queries: 1. I believe for new visa I will b...
