Re: Eligibility of ILR under SET(LR) after a conviction

Wouldn't the character requirement contradicts if the applicant automatically falls for general grounds of refusal which they exempted in FLR applications. If we look at the character requirement then I think nobody will able to successfully apply for ILR even after passing 24 months.

Re: Eligibility of ILR under SET(LR) after a conviction

I have read following in the Long residence guidance "link below". As I currently fall under the general grounds for refusal, I can apply for leave to remain. Correct me If I am wrong https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/488265/Long_Residence_v13.0_EXT....

Re: Eligibility of ILR under SET(LR) after a conviction

Hi Casa,

I understand it is no longer possible to extend under Tier 1 but what are my prospects as I have now completed 10 yrs in the UK. Can I extend under further leave to remain under any other category. I have heard of FLR(LR). Can I apply under FLR(LR) if ineligible under SET(LR).

Thanks

Eligibility of ILR under SET(LR) after a conviction

Hi I have read many threads but unable to find any case similar to my situation. Unfortunately, I had a conviction in March 2016 which bars me to apply for ILR until 24 months has passed i.e. March 2018. However, I have completed my 10 years in Sept 2016, can someone tell me as how can I further ext...

Re: Tier 2 extension - a total of 5 or 6 years?

Hi I am in the similar situation. I have a pending trial in crown court and HO has held my ILR application since June 14. I then decided to vary the application from ILR to Tier 1 General 2nd extension in Jan 15 but they held my extension application as well. I was of view that granting FLR under Ti...

Re: varying an application following PEO appointment

How long HO can hold the application. My ILR application is being on hold since Jun 2014 and still not being decided. My pending prosecution case is not decided until Mar 2016. I'm losing my patience as this unprofessional misuse of authority that HO still has not decided my application. Can someone...

Re: varying an application following PEO appointment

I varied my application to Tier 1 G extension and that has been put on hold as well. What can I do now, can they hold extensions as well if you have a pending court case? I thought that the good character requirements is solely for ILR or naturalisation cases. Have they done right in putting my appl...

Re: PEO APPLICATION WITH CONVICTION

Hi Montysingh, Was you successful in obtaining the T1 G extn instead of going ILR. What was your nature of conviction if you don't mind telling me. Did you apply PEO or in post and how long it took you to get decision in post? I am in similar position, I went for PEO in June and my case has been put...

varying an application following PEO appointment

If someone made an PEO application and decision is pending. How can they vary the application? Do they have to book another PEO appointment for the new application and vary or do they have to submit a postal application?

Please suggest.

Re: ILR and Criminality threshold

Hi Amber, I still haven't heard from UKBA regarding my ILR application. I read your comments in one of the post that if you haven't received summons from court for Intended prosecution then he/she should not be worried as he/she is not charged with any offence. As you are aware in my case it is the ...

Re: ILR and Criminality threshold

Can you please tell what is the threshold for LLR. What are the chances of success if I put LLR Tier 1 (G).

I am innocent and the other case could be taking forever and I need at-least a LLR.

Please please tell me the threshold for LLR and if I put variation will it be successful?

Thanks
