Re: Traffic Offence - Criminality ?

The section 7.1 asks to declare criminal convictions only. So if I understand you guys correctly, though an FPN is not a criminal conviction, I should still say 'yes' in 7.1 and fill in the details in sec. 7.2. Correct? you will tick No for criminal conviction don't convince yourself. I put my own ...

You mean I did admit guilt ? As I had paid the amount. There is a section for Fixed Penalty after the criminal rec...

Re: Traffic Offence - Criminality ?

Hello, I know this have been asked before but it seems to me every case is unique and decisions were different. I was stopped by the police and charged for speeding on motorway plus lane hogging. I was charged £100 and 3 points on my license. I had paid it promptly. This did not go to court. Does t...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

This are my thoughts, others may have different opinion. Please liaise with senior members who may have better advice. After 2012 ruling, it looks like that dependents of the ILR (Long residence) will have only one option, to complete 10 years, regardless of how long before your spouse was ur depend...

Re: Pending Appeal and applicant completes 10 year Legal Sta

@ Smir the lawyer is confusing them, he has already accumulated his ten years before doing nothing about UTT, the only mistake he made is that he applied for the ILR as an overstayer, because not doing nothing is more like someone that withdraw his/her appeal. Brother Obei I think the barrister he m...

Re: Pending Appeal and applicant completes 10 year Legal Sta

So you mean in this case if HO refuses our new SET (LR) and FLR(O) application will they give us a chance to appeal? I am so confused with your opinion now, do u mean that we had a legal stay of 10 years despite an appeal being pending in the FTT and also we did not applied for UTT as our lawyer ha...

Re: 10 year long residence application ILR

I hope i have explained it well. I have tried to explain the law and the policies attached on several occassion, and it appears the solicitors, or so they call themselves, appear to confuse you guys, and then the confusion is brought to the forum, and further confuses other guys. Re: Pending Appeal and applicant completes 10 year Legal Sta

Re: Pending Appeal and applicant completes 10 year Legal Sta

Thank you @ Zee Ali, yes my earnings should be fine for that, my main worry is what will HO do if i didn't respond to their advice of me withdrawing my appeal. As is a big no no for me, even though my lawyer want me to do that. However am paying her and it's my decision.
