The matrimonial law in Nigeria is slightly different from that of Nigeria, so a nigeria case may not be directly relevant. It is a simply question of law. Is the marriage valid according to Gambian law. If it is, then that should be the end of the matter. Thanks Obie you are really boosting my conf...

I think they refering to the marriage act we submited you know after the religious ceremony the marriage was registered to be legally valid in Gambia. So the tirbunal issued an act or marriage, i think they refering to this.

Which marriage act are they talking about? If your marriage is done in accoedance with Gambian law then it is valid. If you both are resided in the uk then simply why not you register for marriage in the UK?rather then involving in long appeal or reapply...
