Re: FAQ - consolidating knowledge about recent Tax discrepan

Below are cases of 2 of my close friends: Friend #1: Tier 1 G in 2011 May with Self Employed and Salaried Tier 1 G Extension 2014 May with Self Employed and Salaried ILR 2016 April, Croydon, Approved (ILR rejected for spouse as she hadn't completed 5 years and was mislead by the lawyer) Noticed a di...

Re: Rescheduling PEO appt

By the way I noticed that the dates beyond 17th May is grayed out for me, that make me suspicious to think if we can't extend the appointment beyond 2 months. They have released appointments to the whole week starting 16th May. Hopefully the HMRC will amend my records and get back to me before then....

Re: Rescheduling PEO appt

Not sure what your circumstances are, but usually you can apply 28 days before the eligible date.

But as CR001 said, June dates are not available yet.

Re: Rescheduling PEO appt

I'm not sure what 28 day rule you are referring to. According to the people who have paid the old fees and used the new set O forms and gone to the appointment after fees increased have not been asked to pay on the day. As you will be going in person, worst case that can happen is they will ask you ...

Re: Rescheduling PEO appt

You are not doing anything wrong, its just that they have changed the system so that the people looking to change appointments have only got visibility of limited slots, where as if you are booking a new appointment then you get a wide range (I created another account from a different email and trie...

additional charge of £63.00

Hi All, I have paid £1900 for an appointment on 15th March, before the fees went up. Since then I have changed my appointment waiting for HMRC to update their records. Now I have my appointment on 16th May. 1. Will I be charged extra £475 on the day? 2. I read some gurus have said I dont have to pay...

I'm not a Guru, but as far as I know:

1. Self Employed
2. Yes
3. Fine
4. All 5 (not sure what documents but I would have thought SA302, What ever else a Limited Company Director would have)

PEO cancellation refunds

Hi Gurus, I cancelled my appointment for the 30th March on 12th March 2016. The guideline says the refund should be processed within 28 days, but I still haven't got it. I emailed them 2 weeks ago, they came back today saying As you cancelled your appointment 5 or more working days before the appoin...

Re: Visa status after refusal sec 322

Let me rephrase the questions as no one can predict what the CW "will" do 1. What usually happens to your current visa if refused ILR under 322 for deception (Tax issues)? 2. Do they usually cancel all our visas and give notice to leave the UK? 3. In the case where they curtail my visa wil...

Re: Visa status after refusal sec 322

Hi guys,

1. What will happen to your current visa if refused ILR under 322 for deception (Tax issues)?
2. Will they cancel all our visas and give notice to leave the UK?
3. Will I have rights to continue working?
4. Will they inform my company? (Sponsor of Tier 2 G)

ILR Employer letter date (urgent)

Hi all, Is there a restriction on when the employer letter confirming my Tier 2 G employment should be dated? Should it be 28 dates before the application similar to the bank statements or can they be about 2 months old? Company has announced fresh set of redundancies, and I'm worried as my appointm...

Re: Visa status after refusal sec 322

Yes, sorry guys 5 years are be made up from 1.5 years in Tier 1 G and the rest in Tier 2 G. Purpose of me asking the above questions was me preparing for the worst. Specially if HO informs my Tier 2 Sponsor, I might loose my job. As I have stated in my other threads below I have a tax discreperancy,...

Visa status after refusal sec 322

Hi all, I'm on a Tier 2 G valid for another 18 months (wife and child are dependents), I'm eligible to apply for ILR now. Unfortunately there is Tax discrepancy and I'm wondering what the worst case scenario is. 1. What will happen to your current visa if refused ILR under 322 for deception (Tax iss...

Re: ILR Post vs PEO

Thanks guys, In case I decide to go same day, in the ILR questionnaire, Q 9: 9. Are you satisfied that the SA tax returns submitted to HMRC accurately reflected your income? If not, why not and what further action have to taken to address it? After I have amended my tax returns can I answer to this ...

Re: ILR Post vs PEO

To reiterate the tax discrepancy was due a lack of knowledge in the UK tax system, not an effort to avoid tax or mislead.

ILR Post vs PEO

Hi all, I got my Tier 1 General on 5th April 2011 and then switched to Tier 2 General in Sept 2012 and then renewed my Tier 2 in Nov 2014. I'm eligible to apply for ILR on 8th March 2016, so this would combine 1 1/2 years of Tier 1 and 3 1/2 years of Tier 2. I have a discrepancy in my Tax returns wh...

Re: ILR Tax issue

This is def a problem and a major issue when it comes to TAX evasion and declaration. Thanks for your reply argus7, but this is not Tax evasion as I had genuine reasons to issue refunds. But by the time the Tier 1 was already issued. HO will def check your SE income and evidence of taxes paid on th...
