My wife needs to renew Her re entry visa soon, how's the queue these days?
When we tried to renew it last month, We arrived at around 7:30 and the queue outside was veeeeery long and therefore we gave up.

In my view as long as you have a certificate of naturalisation, I don't see how the border control officer can refuse you. It is an obvious proof that you are an Irish citizen - and as an citizen you don't require any document to enter your own country as long as their is no doubt about your identi...

you need either a valid re entry visa or your irish passport or an approved ID. if you try with the others you might find yourself in a trouble. that certificate is not for travelling or not an ID. No. We submitted original passport and birth cert., bank statement and utlity bill for each (4 in total), application with garda cert, 4 photos - 2 signed and certified (btw 2 were returned...we thought that interesting) and the Naturalization form. I went by what the passport express site said and...
