Re: 2016 Citizenship Approvals

Hi all members, I have been following this helpful forum a long time, since I've applied for my citizenship in 2014. I've become aware of the process and what usually happens when you're application is sent and each stage you go through to get your citizenship from each member who writes on this. U...

Schengen days stay and entry

Hi, I was wondering if someone can confirm my understanding on this matter for me: I received my Schengen visa today from the Spanish embassy. It says I am valid to enter from 14th November until 10th December. The number of days given was 12 days. Then, on the entry section, it says "02"....

Re: Timeline for your approval date for Naturalisation

Hmmm.. this information (if accurate) doesn't really give me hope, only despair. Applied mid-October, got second stage letter November 18. And still no contact whatsoever. Just emailed them today after 7 months of waiting and only got the stock response : Your application continues to be processed.....

Re: 2015 Citizenship Approvals

Do you mean approval right? as no ceremony has been announced therefore it can't be an invite letter.
Yes. Sorry for the confusion, I meant approval letter from the Minister, NOT invite.

Re: 2015 Citizenship Approvals

My father just received his invite letter. Letter posted 21 April. He is Stamp 4/Spouse of Irish. Lived here for 8 years now. That took a while :) Hopefully mine comes in soon, applied same time as him (October 2014). Not too long now...

Re: 2015 Citizenship Approvals

when did u get ur approval?
I haven't. I was just assuming 6 months from my application, I would probably be accepted already... but not yet. Do you think they're waiting for my renewed gnib (or will ask for it soon) ? Is that causing the delay?

Re: 2015 Citizenship Approvals

Was hoping to be included in the April ceremony but it was not to be. Anybody in the same boat? May I also ask, is it mandatory to send them my renew...

Re: Naturalization through Irish Associations

Hi ,thanks for responding. I will have 1 year and 10 months on Stamp 4 by November (its expiry). I entered as a dependent (Stamp 3) to join my family here (my mother who was Stamp 4 then, but naturalised Irish now) and not to be a student primarily, but through technicality, they gave me Stamp 2 for...

Re: Naturalization through Irish Associations

Can anyone help me with my situation? Reading the forums, I only know of one member which has a similar case to mine but I don't think he/she will be reading this immediately as they last logged in two months ago. Anyway, hear me out (thanks!) I came here as a dependent of my mother (now a naturalis...
