I am not a visa expert by any means but I think as long as your visa is still valid you can re-enter without any problems at all. hope that helps

dear sukhwindersingh maybe the university of east London are saying that the MRes course is not exempt from the 5 year cap because it is a taught course and therefore treated a normal MSc and I have already done my MSc and reached my 5 year cap. I think I should clarify this with them. Visas are so ...

sorry for the delayed response, and thank you for all your advice. you seem to be right, I just don't understand why the university are saying this course is not exempt from the 5 year cap. I am very frustrated at them, but thank you for help.

Tier 4 visa

Hi,
Am wondering if anyone can help me...
I have done 3 year undergraduate and 2 year MSc Environmental Management, so believe I have reached my 5 year cap.
Can I apply to do a MRes? Or would that be considered a masters as well and considered within my 5 years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
