I applied 4 weeks ago ... nothing yet from INIS

When did u apply and did u apply through solicitor or by urself ?

i don't know why would you not be allowed to get married? you love each other and the relation is genuine so do not worry go ahead and get married mate and her visa would be sorted too as well as you for life ;) good luck.

According to my understand you have lost your 5 years stay from 2004 to 2009, and you will have to start living and counting time from now on for 5 years to qualify again. :)

Yes obviously you need your passport along with marriage cert and your GNIB residence permit....

Ireland and UK is common travel area but only for Irish and British citizens not for other EU/Non EU residents.

I had the same case as you and i went to Immigration office and provided the 5 year letter what i had and they asked me the payslips of my EU spouse as she is employed, But, if you haven't been living in Ireland for over a year then you have no right to keep that stamp and should let the immigration...

The permit is issued to eu spouses and i believe if you are separated for good then you have no right to stay in EU, and you would need your EU spouse to be with you at the immigration to get the visa extension and they would also ask if the EU person still exercising the treaty rights and would nee...

Hi Obie Its actually a stamp extension on my passport I got only 4 years when i had 5 years letter from DOJ Because my passport was expiring after 4 years so they stamp my passport and issued a gnib card only up untill my passport was valid. Hello everyone... just curious as it says that you will aquire permanent residency once you have lived in an EU state for 5 years as EU spouse ... Can i apply for Permanent residency once my 5 years are completed or should i wait untill my stamp 4euf is valid... which is valid for 18 more months ev...
