Re: CoS and Visa times

Thank you Manci. This is perfect. What I intend to do is to have them assign it to me by the end of October. Meaning I will have until the end of January to apply for Visa allowing me to be home for Xmas. You should manage the immigration department. Your explanation is 10 times clearer than anythin...

They have run a RLMT and applied for a CoS and have just received the approval. Meaning that they can make me a formal offer. My question is below:- - The guidance says that t...

Re: COS decision for september 2014 meeting

I have not heard anything yet... any update for everyone... I just would like to know that I am not the only one left stranded? Anyone can advise about how long does it take and whether a longer wait is good or bad or just means nothing

Re: YMS to Tier 2

Hi, The company I work for is a large company which is a registered sponsor. Running the RLMT they did manage to get myself and a couple of UK based applicants. Due to high work load they intend to hire all. Not sure if this is acceptable though. The biggest issue is that I not sure if their HR unde...

YMS to Tier 2

Hi, Just a background, I am currently on a YMS visa and my current employer is keen to keep me in after my visa expires. The advise they received was that they have to run an RLMT, give me a CoS (restricted) and then I will have to apply for visa from my home country. Can anyone advise on the odds o...

Re: RLMT Best vs Only

Luckily for me the company does have a branch in my home country and will probably help me get something back home if this did not work out. So it is not the end of the world scenario if it does not work out. Thanks for your help.

Re: RLMT Best vs Only

Hi, Thank you very much for your answers. My sponsor's lawyers clearly informed me that I will have to apply from my home country regardless of what happens. The lawyers are currently involved in making sure that a genuine recruitment process is carried out so I am not preselected and the type of vi...

Re: RLMT Best vs Only

Hi, Thanks for the reply. My current status is that I am on the YMS tier 5 visa expiring soon. I am sure that my employer will follow all legal requirements in the process and as they have appointed lawyers to oversee the application process, I am sure they will not break any legal requirements. I a...

RLMT Best vs Only

Hi, My company is running an RLMT to sponsor me to stay in the country. My job is not on the (shortage list). The advert that was put out for the position was rather generic, and did not state the salary as it was left as (Competitive) based on Lawyers advice. It seems from what I am hearing that th...
