Re: Tier 2 dependent visa

Since on the visa4uk website every application (for main applicant and for dependents) is filled seperately- how is it then possible to schedule an appointment at the same day and time for everyone of us?
Thank you in advance

Tier 2 Visa - CoS details

My future employer today mailed me the COS number that they obtained today from September allocation. I will be applying for a visa next week and I realized that there is a lot of information that has not been conveyed to me by HR. What should they normally send to me so that I fill in the visa appl...

Re: Tier 2 dependent visa

I realize that there is lot of stress on employer giving the maintenenance consent. certifying maintenance is just ticking a box on the online form - check with the sponsor, may be they have done it. If they have you don't need to show any maintenance funds and if you apply together with your depen...

Re: Tier 2 dependent visa

Thanks Frontier Mole and North Pole. I realize that there is lot of stress on employer giving the maintenenance consent. I have around 6.5Lac Rs for past several months in my account and I hope they will be sufficient to show that we have enough funds for maintenance for the first month.

Re: Tier 2 dependent visa

Thank you for your reply.
However we want to all travel together so I would appreciate if a senior member can clarify whether it is possible for me to apply for a tier 2 together with my dependents from India.

Tier 2 dependent visa

I will be soon applying for a Tier 2 General visa from India along with my wife and kids. I was wondering if there is any requirement or in any way helpful that I should first apply for my visa (main applicant) and apply for family (dependent) visa once I have the main applicant visa granted. Thank ...

I will be applying for a visa to UK this September end from India. I understand that a TB examination is not required if one returns to UK within 2 y...

Re: Tier 2 dependants maintenance not required?

My understanding is that the employer should give a letter stating maintenance for you as well as your dependents. If they mention only you then you do need to show maintenance funds for your dependents.

Re: Offered a job but employer doesn't have license

Cannot really answer u completely but I didn't understand what you mean by senior pay. As you are already a college lecturer you should be on at least spine point 37 or above an thus you are well above the min. Required to apply for a tier 2. The new employer should also in some cases pay for your n...

Re: Tier 2 Restricted cos august 2014

Hi Kannan,
When you write pending status- is there a website to check the status? Or this is what your employer or HR conveyed to you?

Re: English Language Requirement for PhD degree Holder

If it shows 10 points on the UKBA site calculator, then you don't need to assess your qualification fro UK NARIC. For further information, please read the points 131-145 of the following document http://goo.gl/yGOP9Y If you still confuse, then make queries on the UKVI site https://ukvi-internationa...

Re: OK to apply for Tier 2 when unemployed?

your previous job, and that you are currently unemployed, are not relevant for the T2G application. You don't need any letter from the previous employer but you must have a restricted CoS from your prospective new employer before you can apply for entry clearance. Thanks so much for your clear resp...

Re: English Language Requirement for PhD degree Holder

Please let me know whether it is compulsory for everyone to get their degree assessed through naric. My degree and institution does show up on the UKBA website. What else do I need to submit besides my original degree?

OK to apply for Tier 2 when unemployed?

Hi Guys, I have never been unemployed before :) I got this offer of a job from London and due to several circumstances including that I didn't want to keep my present employer in the dark, I quit my job 2 months back. Does it somehow affect me now when I apply for a Tier 2 General visa? Do I need to...
