Re: non-EEA eligible for PR (half married, half non married)

Not possible if you did not hold an EFM RC naming your partner/sponsor whilst unmarried. If no such EFM RC then the PR clock starts when you married sponsor assuming he was a qualified person from then onwards (and that any/all absences you have enjoyed have been within prescribed limits). Thank yo...

non-EEA eligible for PR (half married, half non married)?

Dear all, I would really appreciate if you could shed some thoughts on this. I called a few lawyers for initial consultation and they seem to have different opinions. In essence, my question is: As a Non-EEA national, can I apply for PR after 2.5 years as un-married co-habiting family member of an E...

HELP: Appeal or new application?

Dear all, I need your urgent support and advice: My application for a EEA family member resident card has just been refused. The reason is that I failed to prove that my husband (an European citizen) is working - which is entirely ridiculous as the main reason was that we didn't provide a business t...

EEA4-Do I need to be married for 5 years to apply?

Hi there,

Wonder if anyone can help me on this? My husband and I came to the UK as students in 2009. He is a European and eligible to apply for PR. However, we didn't get married until last year. As for now, can I apply for PR too using the EEA4 form?

Thank you.

Re: Can I have Tier2 and EEA2 at the same time

Thank you so much Dalebutt, if you have time, may I ask a few EEA2 question? I just took a look at the EEA2 form, it states that that there is no legal requirement for a non-EEA family to apply for a residence card to confirm their right of residence in the UK. I'm married to a EEA national and on a...

Can I have Tier2 and EEA2 at the same time

Hi all, I'd really appreciate if someone can tell me from their experience that, if I need to give up my Tier 2 when I get an approval from my EEA2 application? My partner is from the EU, and I am currently on my Tier2 work visa. I have accumulated a few years towards a Indefinite Remain to Leave, w...
