Also if I don't make it to the appointment I understand they will not return 100 poud booking fee, will they return the rest of...

Re: How does Cos reference number look like?

Thanks everyone!

Yeah, the number that my sponsor wrote in the application looks nothing like this. I am so glad I decided to double check.

How does Cos reference number look like?

Hello, My employer is a bit careless (as they are very busy and small firm) but I have previously noticed mistakes in the information they have given me for my Tier 2 application. (for example instead of the CoS start date, they have given me the date on which they have received their licence). I wa...

Re: Tier2 Visa sponsorship application time scale

HI, My potential employers had to apply for licence as well. The first time round they didn't send correct supporting documents which took them a couple of weeks to collect but then they got they licence quite quickly, possibly within two weeks? Another thing you have to take into the account is tha...

Re: Switching employer - restricted or unrestricted COS?

Oh OK, thank you, I understood unrestricted as that you do not have to conduct RLMT.

So to sum up: it is still unrestricted CoS but RLMT has to be conducted and passed.

So then to the next question: how does my employer prove that he has conducted the test correctly and that I have passed it?

Re: Switching employer - restricted or unrestricted COS?

Thanks for the information. I keep finding conflicted information. The last thing I found was: 27.7 The following are exempt from the limit and we call these ‘unrestricted’ jobs, for which an ‘unrestricted’ CoS is needed: a) New hires – high earners: Where the annual salary for the job is £153,500 o...

Switching employer - restricted or unrestricted COS?

Hi All, I am currently working under Tier 2 visa for which I have received an unrestricted CoS as I went to UK university. However, I am now switching the employer and my new employer has no experience in doing visa applications (well and neither have I, really). My questions are - 1. When I switch ...
