Re: Regarding IDV app

I think you can only use IDV app if you are invited to do so. I had received an initial holding email saying they would confirm if I can use the app or have to book an in-person appointment. During that period I would neither be able to book an appointment nor use the app. Then a week or so later re...

Hello I have applied for my Naturalisation (spouse route) and have been selected to use UKVCAS IDV app to upload documents and verify my identity. I don't need to book an appointment and go in person. As part of identity and travel history do I need to: 1) Upload all the old passports? (3 including ...

Casa being knowledgable gave you her opionion. You seem to disagree and quote chapter and verse.

Nobody else has knowledge enough to confirm your views. So you have to make up your own mind and proceed.

Re: Right route to Naturalisation

Hi I was just reading the below notes and it says if discretion could be applied. Considering I am on ILR since 2011, the three years prior to my 5 year qualifying period I was away for only 70 days over 3 years. During the 22 months I was away, I was accompanying my spouse who is a British Citizen ...

Hi I have lived in the UK since 2003. I got my ILR through Tier 1 in 2011. My spouse and kids since took British Citizenship. We, as a family, lived out of UK from September 2016 to June 2018 to setup a business. In the last one year I have been away for around 45-50days for the same business. I was...

Thanks for your reply. We will have to take our chance as we are sending postal application on Monday. The test centre also spoke to their in-house barrister and he confirmed that UK higher degree is fine.

New English language testing for partners

I was trying to book a test for my wife, who is currently on tier1, for the above requirements. I was told by the test centre person that since my wife has got a masters and PhD from a UK university she doesn’t need to take the test. We are not able to find her first degree certificate which was f...

To apply for leave to remain (extension of stay) as spouse of settled person, one has to enter UK (before main migrant is granted ILR) in a immigration category meant for spouses/civil partners/unmarried partners of people with temporary leave (i.e.- as dependents). Your wife is in the UK as a Tier...

I come under the settled person and my wife could apply as my spouse from within UK as spouse of a settled person in UK, which she will get a two year visa.
