Reading all ur comment my advice would be anyone that has applied after May 2014 u are only meant to wait 12 weeks but we all know it will take much longer, I was told to wait 6 months and my husband got his visa at 9 months. @tallojani thanks for that, from my understanding which I need to confirm with a solicitor is that the visa is offered for 33 months and the spouse has to enter UK within 28 days, and can have holidays but can only have them for the 3 months at different times but I will Confirm with solicitor. @tallojani thanks for that, so from my understanding my husband has to live in UK for 30 months to be eligible for further stay in uk, and if he did go away on holiday it would be a total of 3 months is this including the 28 days he has to travel to UK or excluding?? Thanks

@MAH_CMMG- I called hmrc office and asked them To send a letter for all the tax I paid, they sent me that I included that letter from them. My husband applied in mirpur, and I am here to give any of u any help I can feel Free to ask coz I know how it feels.

Hey for anyone who has been to the Gerry centre to pick up their papers do u know how long the Gerry centre take to hand them to U and tell u if u have the visa or not? Does anyone have a time scale??? 10/15 mins half an hour or more??
