When I sent mine there was no ackowledgment nor did my spouse recieve an emailing saying application is in process after submitting the biometrics. when the passport is collected do you also receive the documents submitted? There have been original documents submitted that may be useful in case we need to re-apply. Although I do have photocopies of the documents.
