Section 120 - Statement of Additional Grounds - No response?

Hi there I've applied under Set(O) for ILR following 6 years of DLR. I received biometric enrolment letter together with a Red.003 (s120 response) letter titled Statement of Additional Grounds. The biometric has been done and sent. For the section 120 however they have not stated where this needs to...

6 years DL, also spouse, what to apply for next?

My dad is 66 years old with a Middleeastern passport. Both his wife (my mother over 60 years old) and his 2 kids (over 30 years old) have British Passports (having previously settled in UK over 15 years ago). - In 2004 he was granted ILE under family reunion - He was absent from UK for more than two...

NTL Application of ILE from 6 years ago

My dad received an ILE 6 years ago, however we thought it expired and therefore applied and received other visa since then. We now realised that the expiry date on the ILE was simply the expiry date on the passport and all we had to do was transfer the ILE to a new passport. Is the ILE from 6 years ...

Re: Discretionary Leave to Remain Expires in 10 days - Need

Thanks Amber/Obie, is there anywhere online which states this 2 year rule? Ok I've looked into this and found out what has happened. The expiry date on his ILE was the same as the expiry date of his passport! However since he thought this meant that his ILE expired and as a result he applied for a v...

Re: Discretionary Leave to Remain Expires in 10 days - Need

Thanks Amber, Is there anything he can do with the indefinite leave to enter that he had 6-10 years ago?

Also do we need to explain why he has only been in the UK 3-4 months during his 3-year DLR?

Thanks

Re: Discretionary Leave to Remain Expires in 10 days - Need

Hi Amber I have found out what happened 3 years ago. We had applied under FLR(M) however my dad is not able to do the test due to medical reasons which we provided, he was therefore granted DLR instead. I assume we now have to extend it using FLR(O) form, however which category do we have to apply u...

I am in a similar situation but someone has told me I need to fill in FLR(M) another has told me FLR(O). Any reason why you are not doing FLR(M)?

Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

Hi Could someone please guide me on what the differences between FLR(O), FLR(M) or FLR(FP) are? My father's 3-year Discretionary Leave to Remain and getting mixed messages on which one I should be filling out. Both my mother (who is married to my dad) and I have a British Passport and are UK residen...

Re: Discretionary Leave to Remain Expires in 10 days - Need

Thanks for the replies. He has not passed Life in the UK but I thought that was only for people who have lived here continuously for a few years? If we apply for FLR(O) extension is he likely to get rejected because he has only been in the UK for a total of about 4 months over the last 3 years? Also...

Re: Discretionary Leave to Remain Expires in 10 days - Need

He had a 2 year "VISA Spousal/CP" but he overstayed his visa. We filled some form and submitted to the home office and he was granted DLR. I am not sure why he was not given an extention of his Visa instead, maybe we made the wrong application. He has been out of the UK most of his DLR tim...

Discretionary Leave to Remain Expires in 10 days - Need help

Hi My father was granted a 'Discretionary Leave to Remain' 3 years ago. In his passport it says Residence Permit, Limited Leave to Remain in the UK. However this expires in 10 days. He has been in and out of the UK during these 3 years, and he is currently in the UK. What do we need to do to extend ...
