Re: ILR after 6 years DLR by PEO appointment

Hello again, My case is the same. For me, the home office took 15months to grant the extension as they misplaced the application. I am applying counting six years from the first date of DL category. So I think you'll be fine to apply 28 days before your 6year completion date. I don't know about this...

Re: ILR after 6 years DLR by PEO appointment

Why is your DLR expiring before 6 years. Did you apply for your 2nd DLR extension early?

ILR after 6 years DLR by PEO appointment

Hello ,,,

I would like to confirm if it is now possible to apply in person for ILR after 6 years of discretionary leave completion under transitional arrangements?

Your early response would be much helpful as I have now completed the qualifying period and awaiting to apply asap.

Thank you.

Dear all, I am writing on behalf of a friend. He is due to apply for ILR on basis of completion of 6 years in UK. We are aware he does not need LIUK and B1 English under DL route. However he has taken LIUK test. There are two issues. 1. He was granted DL as he entered UK as an illegal entrant but la...

Re: ILR based on discretionary leave of 6 years.

Hi Amber,

He doesn't need to do LIUK? Do you think he will need a solicitor? We are fine to fill the application, but bit concerned with the cover letter?
Can we not write simply explaining his history and dates of visas obtained? Does it have to be explaining laws under what he is qualified?
