Background: 1. We are family of 5. Husband, Wife, eldest child born in 2009 before we came to UK, and two younger children born in UK, before we got ILR. 2. We got our ILRs last year (Husband, Wife, Eldest Child) 3. After that younger two children were 'registered' for citizenship and got the passpo...

Long story short, no questions asked at immigration and t...

children travelled while MN1 was in process but approved before return

Scenario I had Tier-2-General BRP, and kids had T2 G dependant BRP. then I recently got ILR. So, my children applied for BC using MN1 (while still holding T2 G BRPs - expiry date is valid for future 2 years). then we travelled out of UK for a month - while MN1 was still in-progress, as kids had old...

Re: Family Settlement and Citizenship Question

QQ: while filing SET (LR) online I have this question. Do you have any Home Office reference numbers? (Required) If you have previously made an application to remain in the UK, you can find a reference number on letters from the Home Office, called 'Our Ref' or 'Case ID'. If not known, select 'No'. ...

Re: Family Settlement and Citizenship Question

Thank you CR001. Appreciate your quick response and helping me find the correct option.

PS:
I presumed the below typo (auto-correct perhaps)
"Submit I my the mi inal documents for long residence ilr."
as

"Submit the minimal documents for long residence ilr."

Family Settlement and Citizenship Question

Circumstances: I, my wife, and our <2 years old daughter had come to UK longer-term in May 2011. (Came from Pakistan, hence non-EEA etc). We all qualified for 10 years SET (LR) recently. Current visa is T2(G) for me, and rest of family is PBS Dependant. Expiring in Oct 2023. [previously it was T2IC...

Business Visitor to Work Permit to Long Residence plus dependants

My 2 years Business Visa was valid from Nov-2009 to Nov-2011. 1. I travelled many times, but counting my 'continuous stay' from an entry date of 18-09-2010 -departure from UK 28-12-2010 (note the business visa was still valid for another 11 months). 2. Applied for Tier-2 ICT with family in Feb 2011,...

Just following up on this thread. Any case law or hopes of ILR (5 years) for Tier 2 ICT Established Staff (those who came between 6 April 2010 and 6 April 2011)?

Re: Tier 2 ICT and ILR

Why not take the matter be raised with ukba and courts? I for example relicated based on understanding that I may get ILR in 5 years time. By the time I heard that retrospective change it was already over 3 years in UK. With kids already having bonds to UK, it was absolutely harsh to hear the new ru...

Re: Tier 2 ICT and ILR

Hi any updates on this. Did anybody went to court for this?

I believe all ICT between 2010-11 shall seek some remedy to get the ILR eligibilty on 5 years route.

Please share if anyone knows any resolve.
