Have listed the doc we sent, include photocopy of ur gnib card with the application. As I said if you want ur application to take four weeks include basic requirement, if u want the case worker to get thru ur case quickly include Enuff evidence to show that you satisfy the requirements above and bey...
hey, my husband fp took a week and half we included the following docs mariage cert certified copy of my passport his passport proof of both our employment both our bank statement and return ticket we know its not necesary to include all the extra docs but we did anyway to maximize our chance of get...
You are completely right case, My husband just his eu stamp 4 last week in Dublin. The week the permit was issued my work was called. I think in robs case the landlord was called because employer said he had left and as casa pointed out, if you no longer reside in the address where will the letter f...
if you are a non eu national, even if you have no bags to check in. you have to go to the counter for visa check. that's what my husband and I did. they checked my husbands passports and stamped his boarding pass as they are not allowed to stamp his passport. and the same was done when we were leavi...
You have a better chance of getting the permit if your married, unless you have enough evidence to show that you have been in a durable relationship for 2 yrs U.S. Citizens don't need visa to come into the UK anyway. So I will advise, get married in America, apply for fp if u want or just travel in ...
You can also fly directly to other UK airports without any issue. As long as the airline accepts to carry you from Dublin, no immigration checks when you get home. Irish flights are classed as domestic on arrival. With regards to the time frame to apply its 3 months but as named said it can be exten...
Robster, This question as already been answered in ur other posts. If you are already in the UK gather you documents and apply for your wife to stay in the UK. If you are unsure, a member already advised you go use a lawyer. It's pretty straight forward, the main is to be issued a fp from Dublin to ...
You can but am sure you already know the answer you will get. I do understand your frustration that u have been a worker long enough. But I think the reason they started ringing employers was because they found out ppl were leaving. Honestly it's not worth the stress since you are already in the UK....
Hi mylink,
Thanx a lot, been having a bit of issue with my fone. Don't worry I have u in my prayers. U will be back home soon as well without any stress.
U can apply immediately u go back to the UK as long as you have satisfied the centre of life test. My advise is to get a family permit before you move back, it's not compulsory but it makes ur case look good
Hey Robster, Don't worry too much about this stuff, Apply with all the documents you have gathered while in Dublin, that will suffice, u have a good case. If u want include a letter stating you moved back home because your employer transferred you. You have lived in Dublin with more your wife for wa...
To be honest with you, don't think it will change anything becoos employers shouldn't offer a position unless they are certain of your status in the country.
If the EU citizen needs their passport that can be requested but the non EU passport will be retained until they reach a decision.
I was gonna say exactly what mark said. If u have a UK visa why all the dodgy questions on way to evade immigration. As Nina clearly pointed out there are immigration checks on international flight, even when travelling btw UK n Dublin they carry out checks at the airport. No airline will carry you ...
Hi,
Trust me all you can do is be patient, even though it's absolutely ridiculous that they are taking 12 weeks for temp letter.
I know another board member contacted solvit and they advised that they are aware of the delay and ppl just have to be patient
Do u have a temp stamp 4 gnib card
My husband left Ireland many times and came back in on temp stamp 4 and re-entry visa from inis.
We went to Spain n the UK. Coming be into Dublin I joined him on the non-EU queue and present both passports and it's been no issue
This post was from 2013,
Ppl have me cracking up with all the excitement, with inis now it's a waiting game, my husbands application took 6.5 months.
They are so busy now the waiting time is ridiculous.
It can be frustrating but hang in there guys.
Its done when u r bk in the UK and u apply using the eea form. If u go on the ukba website u should read the guidance note for caseworkers dealing with SS route applications.
It helps u as an applicant to understand what they require and it makes filling the forms easier
Hi alpha,
Try to get ur wife to Dublin asap then, if the child is born in Dublin it helps ur case with the centre of life when you move back to the UK, if she's joining you in Dublin. You don't need much to apply for the Irish visa.
Alpha gear, U r asking the same questions over and over, as you have clearly stated that your wife is pregnant, dats more than Enuff proof that your marriage is real. Ur marriage certificate is will also suffice with few wedding pics. If u plan to go thru the SS route you don't need so much document...
