I didnt see anywhere say living in hk. I do see people with a lot of different interpertation with using BOTA. BOTA require to live in the uk for 5 year with minimum of 1 year ILR. I am on the same boat as you. Got mine at 2011 but didnt bother to get it till now. I have fill in the BOTA form for that. They have narrow the fee between BOTA and AN, so there isnt much you saving using BOTA if u want to be on the safe side or to use NCS(get ur passport back on the same day).

Did u use the online form to update your address?
I am moving in 4 weeks time.
I hope mine arrived soon :cry: so i dont have to sort out everything at the new county.

I just receive this email conformation of my application And it looks like i will have to use it since i am moving in 2 months and they are currently 3 to 4 months behind :cry:

I sent mine on 29th of Sep and I just saw my balance and the money got deducted today. I was really worry it got lost in the post i really regret i didn't use NCS since i didnt know they give your passport back :(
