Re: PBS summary for Tier 1 (General) Migrants for ILR

PBS summary is not needed for ILR. Also, as the T 1 G has now been discontinued , the PBS does not have it as an option anymore. You may want to use PBS printout showing 10 points for your degree to establish your English Lnaguage qualification, if it is applicable to you. You can use T 2 option for...

Re: ILR Success Story !

Congratulations ASKHAN, One query: You did submit your SA302/P60, that would have established that you were self employed, however briefly. I was also briefly an IT contractor and was director of my own limited company in early 2011. I never used any of those earning in any of my T1 extensions. I as...

Re: ILR due in MARCh 2016

IMHO, income records as appearing with HMRC and as decalred to HO could vary for various reasons, which incule the following: 1. Non taxable components in salary: Salary sacrifice for Pension, insurance etc. 2. Mismatch due to periods other than official HMRC tax period.( change in salary, divident ...

ILR SET O : Dependant's english language requirement

Hi Gurus, Having read FAQs, forms, rules and guidances, I have come to conclude that to prove my wife's english language qualification I can rely on the following: 1. Her Original Degree Certificate 2. PBS calculator showing ten points for the same degree. My question: I have noticed on the forum th...

Re: Letter of Absences from ex employer

They have mentioned my dates of absences from UK correctly. However, they hired me in the UK, but on deputation model. In there system they it shows I started working for them in UK from 5th, and they hired me on 4th. But in my HMRC employement history the date is 4th, also as per my immigration his...

Re: Letter of Absences from ex employer

TA unchained, I had come across the link you posted. Intrestingly, may people I know have just ignored the section 6.3 in SET (o) and have got away without any document or explanation. I do plan to rely on the link you have posted and try to have copy of all the correspondences. One more query for y...

Re: ILR Documents

I am in a similar boat mate. I can not see Employer's letter for absences in the list. Knowing, How many days you were out of UK during five years? Maximum days out of the UK in any one year? , would help. Just an opinion, cohabitation documents are better if they roughly cover period from your last...

Re: Letter of Absences from ex employer

Are we concluding the following: No option but to use employer letter for annual leaves for T-1 General ILR, even when the number days out of the UK is less than 30 days in each year? How does air tickets make the case strong, are they a better evidence than immigartion records? Finally, what an ind...

There has been change in wordings. However, the latest KOLL instructions do mention that a PBS printout with ten points should be suffecient.

Re: Salary Components- Medical Insurance + Pension

Thanks for confirming. We can conclude that employee contribution part of salary can be considered as an earning. Any takers on following, please? 1. Private medical, that appears on you P11D and hence is taxable. 2. Other taxable benefits such as company car etc.? An informative response would be o...

Re: Salary Components- Medical Insurance + Pension

Thanks for coming back NKS, You are right in saying that gross component is a definitive answer. However, the P11D form contains employee taxable benefits. Would it not be reasonable to say that any benefits included in P11D should be considered part of employee earnings for Tier-1 salary calculatio...
