Re: Non-EU PR, can I bring my wife here?

Bump. Really interested to hear from anyone in a similar position. The EU Directive is silent on the rights of a non-EU national family member of an EU national, who has acquired the right of permanent residence, to live in the host state with his own family members. As I mentioned, the UK's positio...

Re: Non-EU citizen visa/EU1 residence card

You can apply for an entry visa at the Irish embassy in London, if you wish, but it serves no point. Entering Ireland via Northern Ireland is perfectly legal, saves time and inconvenience. Flight / ferry / train / bus tickets can be kept as documentary evidence of entry to Ireland. Up to you.

Re: Non-EU citizen visa/EU1 residence card

Enter and join your spouse in Ireland via Northern Ireland. Easiest, fastest method. Apply for a residence card using form EU1 when in the state.

Re: After marriage can i apply stamp 4 directly to gnib offi

The law mandates that the OP's "Irish" husband is stripped of his citizenship, then fined, imprisoned or both. As a non-EU national resident in Ireland without valid permission he should then be deported to his country of nationality. Obviously, the same is true for the OP, also an illegal...

Re: EU Treaty Rights

3) You have to submit EU1 application within 90 days after arriving to Ireland. Depends on your stay period. Sometimes at airport they would give you 30 days stay visa which means you need to report to Garda within 30 days. This is incorrect. 1. It is not mandatory to apply for a residence card. 2....

Non-EU PR, can I bring my wife here?

Hello! I am a Malaysian citizen. I have been resident in Ireland for 6 years as a non-EU national family member of an EU national. I held Stamp 4 EUFam for 5 years, now I hold Permanent Residence (although the physical card is the same), authorised by INIS. As non-EU national who is resident in Irel...
