Re: Entrepreneur extension issue

I have exactly the same issues. It may be qualified as "disguised employment". Any comments on this matter?

Re: Hello

I know a person who had the same situation but he quit from his job after a few month. Now he is thinking about extention as well. Did HO check that when considering the extention application? Is it possible to spot a minor overlap of a few month in this case at all?

Re: Tier 1 £50000 Extension - Business Investment

If you generate profit, you can invest the profit you generated into anything you wish funds, shares, stocks, etc and then invest your personal money from your account to spend them according to the visa rules. If this is still not a solution for you, you can invest the remaining amount in another ...

Re: Tier 1 £50000 Extension - Business Investment

The same here! I`m confused about it as well. I`m thinking to invest £50k through loan argeement, where stipulate that the whole amount is going for business development purposes only" and spend it all for a Business Developmet Manager`s salary, marketing, adverts etc.... Does it fly like that ...

Genuine Entrepreneur Activity for extention

Hi all I`m running my consultancy business through my company as a Tier 1(E) visa holder which I want to extend in 2016. I`m slightly confused with the genuine business test that I have to pass to extend my visa. Under A41 of the Guidence I may not, be considered to be working for my own business if...

Re: Salary from 50000

In other words, you can claim salaries for your empoyees when you are not doing well with your business that seems to be absolutelly irrational for the purpose of the Tier 1 (E) visa as whole

Re: Salary from 50000

Let`s make it clearer: 1) if your company within a good period made money and generated profit- salaries for your employees for this period doesn`t count as an investment for the purpose of the extension application. 2) if your company within a bad period has failed to generate profit - salaries for...

Re: Payments not considered for extension (except own salary

^^ But what if you use the amount invested towards paying corporation tax? I don't think that will be counted as amount spent either. tax liability does not constitute investment. Be careful. Can you REINVEST MONEY? For example, can I transfer £10k from my business acc to my personal acc as my divi...

Re: working elsewhere

A friend of mine worked as a PAYE contractor on Post Study Work visa. Then he switched to Tier 1 (E) and simply forgot to notify his employer about the switch. He finished the contract in a few months as requested with overlap of a few months. Now, he`s running his business as a director and doing p...

Re: Extension applicants please join here

Hi all Further to your conversation I have a question about money availability. So, I qualified for T1 (E) visa through £50K route in April 2013. At that point the whole sum of £50k was on my personal bank acc in the UK. When I got my visa, in Sep 2013 I took £15K out of that sum and left only £35k ...

Re: Advice needed for investment for tier 1 entrepreneur vis

Hi all I would like to restart this discussion about investment issues within a Tier 1 (E) Visa framework. I read a few general discussions about investments but there are no talks about specific options or issues that an applicant may be faced with when demonstrating/proving his investment. To star...
