Re: EEA citizen without PR and on-hold? Post here your timel

The HO replied to that FOI request that was posted earlier in the thread. https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/241776/response/596513/attach/html/3/FOI%20Response%2033655.pdf.html I recall seeing other FOI requests about approval percentages etc in the past, but I guess because this was about a pa...

Re: October 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Has anyone who hasn't received anything yet written to their MP to ask for help? Or is it too early for this? Would it cause any damage to go ahead with it?

Re: September 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

Guys, I'm starting to believe that there must be discrimination going on in HO. As I connot understand why some people get approvals in a month while some have to wait for 6 months? I just can't understand. I don't drive , and never been to police station, am currently working in NHS so I had my CR...

Re: April 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

The targets are around immigration, not nationality though. EEA citizens being here has already impacted the immigration figures, so it makes no more difference after that, with naturalisation. If anything, naturalising EU citizens probably makes the statistics look better, as it means 1 less person...

As long a they have taken the payment, I wouldn't worry about it - it means that the whole process has started.

Re: Walkin - NCS can I - five years not in UK - urgent

Alternatively, you could just do a postal application and use special delivery, so you'd be able to send it on Monday and know that they will get it on Tuesday.

Phoned to see if they had made a decision, given that apps after mine have been decided. She said it's ongoing. :( Hope it's not an EU delay.

After seeing so many approvals from after when I applied now, I got very excited when I saw a brown envelope when I got home...but it was from HMRC for my other half. Boo. :(

Re: BC after EEA4 or as a BC spouse

Well, you kind of apply via both really. You prove treaty rights for five years (by showing PR), then you prove residency via spouse (3 years, removing the requirement of having to hold PR for one year).

Your guess is as good as mine, but EU citizens without a PR card haven't gotten an approval in months in any of the threads on here, as far as anyone has noticed.

Five days from fee to approval - wow!

With all these approvals, I keep coming home hoping to see this famous brown envelope in the mailbox, but being EU I worry I will be waiting for a long time!

Re: October 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

After how long it was taking to get fees taken/ack letters sent, the speed of the approvals is astounding! They have kind of reached my date of application now in the dashboard, so I am hoping mine too will be speedy and not follow the slightly scary EU/EEA delay examples we have seen over recent mo...
