This helps corroborate travel was within limits. Sounds like you've given it your best shot.

There's a Brexit rush.
Just sit tight; short of a zombie attack, payment will be taken and process will kick off sooner or later.

Re: Getting passport back

Great ok. I was a bit new to this application process. I have now filled out the online application, paid and if I understand correctly I can now use the "European passport return service" where I need to book an appointment and take copies of all documents there rather than sending them ...

You have not submitted adequate supporting evidence, as explained in the refusal letter.

Should I state under "Which identity document will you supply?" that I will provide a National ID card instead of Passport?
Presumably state which ever one you plan to submit.
Even if passport it is certified in some way and you keep original.

Re: Getting passport back

If you are EEA why not use the new council document checking service and keep hold of passport.

Re: PR application and Registration Certificate Application

The guidance doesn't mean you can present half the evidence.
It means your dependency for your essential daily needs may constitute up to 50% of your income stream - quite generous really.

Unfortunately you will need rock-solid evidence - which means a papertrail. HO is a paper-bound organisation.

Re: Residence card refused/Reconsideration request

Its inappropriate to ask for reconsideration in such circumstances.

As you have discovered, HO plays hardball so don't take anything for granted.
Simply reapply - with rock-solid documentary supporting evidence.

Re: CSI for EU national

Not necessarily. Sponsor could show evidence of being a jobseeker. No CSI. Or else be selfsufficient. CSI required. So for those few weeks when he wasn't registered in the job center yet can he be considered as a jobseeker?[/quote] Yes, under EU law. And if there's adequate supporting evidence. Whe...

Re: CSI for EU national

No gaps. Thank you for the reply. Sorry to be a pain and keep asking but if the sponsor was in employment later lost the job and after few weeks went to the job center to register himself as an uneployed-did he supposed to have a CSI for him and his durable parter for those few weeks? Not necessari...

Re: PR & Citizenship with 12 mths valid passport

Hey guess what :D Just received my application - Successful. One minor thing.. letter says I've aquired permanent residence in 2013- I've arrived in 2008. All ok here. Month is the same, although the date in the month is about 2 weeks before 5 years would've lapsed since my arrival. Eg: first arriv...

Re: PR Application

Under EU law, parttime work in itself is not an issue as long as the work was continuous.

If you were paying tax/NI and earning above MET you should have acquired PR as long as no long absences from UK;
assuming you gave good supporting evidence.

Re: PR Application

You may have acquired PR as early as 2014. What you apply for now is simply confirmation of this. As long as work was genuine and effective (and you can prove it) then all should be well. HO may apply MET test to you too, that goes above and beyond the cleaner, purer EU law. Were you paying tax/NI?
