Thanks so much for your prompt response! Yep, the COA has been received and the date booked for registration with the office (local council in our case) has been set.. butterflies.. I'm looking at the visauk website.. Would the HSMP be considered similar or under the workpermit holder category? cheers

Well, i actually emailed HSMP asking if it was ok that i do not supply a tax return but the following supporting docs: -Letter from Ltd co. showing total income paid to me. -All payslips paid from Agency to Ltd co. -employment contracts & -All personal bank statements showing net income received...

That's why i'm just going to be paying my limited company administrators to do my tax return for £100 + VAT. It's being sent to me in the post right now waiting for me to sign it. He told be it'll take 3 weeks plus. I did ask him about electronic lodgments but he said they do not lodge them that way...

The payslips from the employment agencies, only state gross weekly income earned per slip. That is no tax is deducted... none of those P60 or P anything were submitted. Just the contract from employment agencies stating the hourly rate c£40, weekly payslips, all bank statements etc..

It was for a new application...

Sorry, i don't have access to the exact wordings but he would have raked in c£80k. Maybe as you have stated earlier, the high income may have required a tax return to be lodged.

Are you sure? According to the workpermit.com intial assessment will award 25 points for postgrad qualifications stating "e.g. Chartered Accountants.. " if not Masters. Also, a friend a mine is a CA (Chartered Accountant) from Australia and he scored 25 points. I'm just not sure if the CPA...

We're discussing the HSMP right? Not having a tax return was the only reason given to him for not satisfying the Salary component. Total income income earned was way inxs of the minimum £40k

Sorry, should have been clearer... It was the ONLY reason for rejection. I forget the exact reason but it was along the lines of not supplying a tax return. My friend has appealed as well as stating all the facts such as i mentioned previously on how the form and guidance notes only recommend 2 form...
