Newborn Passport sign or thumb print

Hi There,

Can anyone please confirm if I need to get the thumb print for my infant child on the passport before sending with Visa application or can I leave it blank?

Other option, can I sign on the passport on his behalf?

Your help will be high appreciated.

Many thanks,

Asif

Re: Tier 1 General Dependent Visa for new Born

Hi Vinny,

Your answer made a bit confused. Why I will fail 319H(C). I already have leave under tier 1 general until June 2016 so only applying for my Baby and I think £630.00 in bank account for 90 days will be enough for maintenance funds criteria.

Re: Tier 1 General Dependent Visa for new Born

Hi All, Just to confirm, I email Home Office/UKBA regarding the correct maintenance funds and they have responded as follows, If you have been in the UK for more than 12 months, you must have £630 for your son. There is no need to have £945.00 for main applicant as you are not applying with dependen...

Re: ILR for Tier1 Dependant - Break in UK Stay and visa

Post by vinny » Sun Nov 09, 2014 11:07 pm Unfortunately, it's unclear if continuous leave is broken when applying for an entry clearance. ILR closing for Tier 1 (General) shouldn't be a problem for PBS dependants, provided that the Tier 1 (General) holder obtained ILR. Hi Vinny, Can you please tell ...

Hi Silent Whisper,

Can you please tell me, how much maintenance funds you maintained for your newborn visa? did you send the original passport of parents? I will really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Re: Tier 1 General Dependent Visa for new Born

My ILR is due in June 2016 so that's why I m applying for my son leave to remain. I hope it wont affect him applying for British citizenship through MN (1). Regarding maintenance, I thought main applicant only need to show £945.00 plus £630 for each dependent if they are applying together. If only d...
