Hi, what I am aware of as long as you apply for a fee waiver within the validity of your existing leave. You will get 3C leave if your visa expires until your fee waiver application decided. It should not impact on your continuous residence.

Can you please confirm if you have applied for a fee waiver and its status if available please, I have also applied for the fee waiver on 07-Apr-2021, documents uploaded on 12-Apr-2021 but didn't hear from then.

I have replied back with the justification and quoting of guidance asking to refer me to the document declining to include visitors visa for 10 year long residence.
Let's see what would be their response on this.
