BRP card damaged by case worker

I went for my Son's indefinite leave to remain to Croydon office and i submitted my BRP(as i already had a indefinite leave to remain) and other documents. The case worker said my son's application was successful but my BRP card was damaged and also promised that she will send my BRP and his BRP tog...

Re: ILR question on tax and dispensation benefits

Sorry I did not know there was a reply to the post. It was not in one go. It was paid over the period of 12 months. In fact the net salary was including those 8000 pounds. But salary slip clearly showed those items which were considered for dispensation. Yes it was reflected in my payslips.

Re: ILR question on tax and dispensation benefits

My only concern was it was not a part of my p60. Probably was considered as a non taxable income but I am not sure still why it was not a part of P60. I am trying to check with the employeer the details regarding this.

Re: ILR question on tax and dispensation benefits

Yes Orelly. I did my self assessment every year because there were discrepancies because of this dispensation benefits and also when you change companies there are issues with tax paid.

I was asked to do it initially by HMRC(I guess due to same reason). Now every year I get it so I do it.

Re: ILR question on tax and dispensation benefits

1. Yes I had payslips of 40k and a p60 of 32k. But I have not cheated on tax.

2. As my company is an offshore company they allowed to claim dispensation benefits which is not getting reflected in my p60.

3. I would not have qualified with 32k.

How do we take it from here.

ILR question on tax and dispensation benefits

I received my first Tier 1 in MArch 2011 and due for ILR in July 2016 I have been employed for all the 5 years and always with an employer(never self employed). I have filed my returns for all the years. In the year 2012-2013 my company allowed me to claim dispensation benefits which is given to emp...

Re: ILR eligibility for my Wife and Kid

Guys I am getting confused here.

Is it 3 years of continuous stay for dependents or is it 5 years?
Also if we start counting from 2013 May considering 5 years she can apply only in 2018. There is no ILR beyond 2018+ her Tier 1 runs out in 2017 Nov. So it is quite confusing what should be done.

Does Kid need an ILR or can go for naturalization

1. Me and my wife are due for ILR in July 2016(Me, My wife and Kid have Tier 1 visa till Nov 2017). 2. If we(Me and my wife) get ILR in July 2016. Technically we can apply naturalization from July 2017. So rather than applying ILR for my son now, Can I directly apply for naturalization when I do it ...
