Does anybody know when VFS/HCI London release new appointment slots? I have been trying to check multiple times everyday but seem to always lose.

Re: Indian passport renewal

Hi, I have been trying the same. I am not able to select any day to schedule an appointment. Weekdays seem to be struck out, weekends seem to be available along with 29-March, but you cannot select them. Have sent multiple emails to VFS and HCI but no response. Tried calling VFS but could not get th...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Took a bit over 2 months from date of application, roughly 6 weeks from documents upload, roughly 1 month from biometrics. Not too bad! Thank you for every one help, especially Cullinan, CR001, Zimba and many others. I c...

I had spent a week trying to find free appointments but could not. At the end only ones which seemed to be available/ disappear less quickly were the paid ones.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hello everyone, So finally after weeks of preparation, and waiting a month for biometrics completed my ILR Set(O) Tier 2 five years route application by submitting biometrics at Reading UKVCAS centre yesterday. It went pretty smoothly, we were done in 15 minutes. Now I guess its just a waiting game....

Re: Cohabitation proof - only online bills and statements

All stamped and biometric pages. Passports are NOT retained by ukcvas or ukvi during the application. It is all digital now. Ohh dear!! That will be almost all the pages on my passport. Thank you - good to know that we will retain our passports. I have Tier2 visa valid till Aug 2021. Would that mea...

Re: Cohabitation proof - only online bills and statements

As @srsw said, cohabitation documents are needed for the dependent not main. You should upload them in the dependent’s section of documents. Thank you. Overthinking is the occupation hazard of my profession - sometimes I cannot help it. :) When scanning the passport (latest and the previous) for up...

Re: Cohabitation proof - only online bills and statements

Main and dependent are two different applicants. So why their documents should be together? Follow the checklist and upload documents as per the applicant’s requirements. Because I have got one checklist, application form did not give two separate checklists for the two applicants. Documents in the...

Re: Cohabitation proof - only online bills and statements

Yes to both highlighted. Thank you. I am having a concern, perhaps silly. Shouldn't all the documents be uploaded under the main applicant? Why separate links for the main and the dependent applicant? I think all documents and application for both main and dependent should be considered as a whole ...

Try 12AM midnight Tuesday onwards. If you check tonight you will get a slot for Saturday 5th Dec which is paid anyways plus less availability on Saturday and Sunday(mostly all centres are closed except a few). Check Tuesday 10th Nov 12:01 AM GMT. You should get one for Monday 7th Dec nearby or earl...

Re: ILR Set(O) – regarding absences from UK and Countries Lived in outside the UK

As long as the required information is there, I do not see any issue if there is one or two separate letters. One document can satisfy one or more things in the checklist. Tier 2 guidance page 71: You must provide a letter from your current sponsor confirming: • you will still be required for the f...
