Re: Travelling on other passport while visa is out for exten

There is no rule preventing you from travelling while your application is being processed. You will have a problem to board the airplane if you require a visitor visa. When you arrive, you have to tell the immigration officer than you are entering as TIER 1 and not as visitor, and that you don't hav...

visa fees outside the uk, £874 or $1600?

Tier 1 dependent fee is £874 according to https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visa-regulations-revised-table Even though the visa type is explicitly mention, but it implied that the fee is £874. But why on earth they chargr in $ when paying to for the actual application, they charge $1495 and...

Yes.

Unused holidays is a taxed income. Therefore, you can use them as earnings in your Tier 1 or ILR application.

I didn't report to the police when I changed jobs

My tier 1 visa has the restriction of registering and reporting to the police. I have complied with the rules by registering and reporting address changes and visa extensions within 7-days. But yesterday when I went to report my new visa, which was extended recently, the police told me that I need t...

Re: Visa for dependent - July 2015

Tier 1 dependent entry clearance and extensions won't be closed in 2015. Main applicant extension will be closed. Eventually, every tier 1 main applicant will get ILR (given that he is eligible). As long as there is tier 1 main applicant with valid tier 1 visa, you will still be able to apply for de...

Re: Applying for Dependent Child Visa outside UK

Hi All, Has anyone done a entry clearance for a child outside UK? I am looking for some help on list of documents to provide along with application. Also, my child was born in UK. How do I answer some of the questions in the application (for example): Has he/she travelled to UK for medical treatmen...

traveling wihout brp card is possible

I have gone through this. Many people need to travel while waiting for their brp card. Given that the rules are vague regarding traveling and entering the uk without the card, people very often cancel their travel plans as they feel they will lose their visas if they leave the uk before receiving th...

Re: Tier 1 General Child entry clearance expiry, both parent

If you get ILR under PBS , then she would need to satisfy 319E to get ILR. There doesn't appear to be a 180 days rule for dependants. I was talking about an entry clearance for a child, not my wife. My wife already has a dependent visa that expires before my visa,il my question was, for how long th...

Re: Tier 1 General Child entry clearance expiry, both parent

319I(a)(i) would apply . If your wife applies for a dependant entry clearance, then its expiry should be in line with yours (319D). However, it's unclear if her continuous leave will be broken as a result of applying for entry clearance. But as she still has leave for 8 months, there is a strong ar...

Which period will be granted ? The expiry on the main applicant viaa (2 years) or my wifes visa (8 months)? In the tier 1...
