Re: Extension of WRScheme in 2009 was unlawful?

The date of the decision is 30/01/2015, so the month has already passed.
I have no idea how to find out if the Secretary of State has appealed the decision.

Re: Naturalization - late WRS registration

Thanks Mauser1905 for for comments. There is no chance of having any proof of what I say. Asking employer to give me in writing that he didn't require WRS will not work, as this is illegal for employer to employ workers without WRC. So no employer would like to put in writing that he broke the law. ...

Re: Naturalization - late WRS registration

I didn't know about the WRC registration. Employer didn't mention it to me. A month after I started work, I got letter from HO saying that I didn't register for Working Registration Scheme. So I did it straight after that and received my WRC 20 days later. I've read that breaking immigration law ban...

Naturalization - late WRS registration

Hello all, I'm about to apply for naturalization. I have never applied for PR card. My application is based on worker's route. The problem is that when I started my first job in 2008, I applied for WRC after 30 days window (50 days to be exact). This means that I worked illegally for 20 days. I obta...

Re: Refused British Citizenship for child!

Yes, I know it doesn't make sense.
I was trying to find out what is the name of that policy.
Unfortunately I haven't received the answer.

Thanks a lot for the link references. I will definitely use them in my next conversation with the Passport Office.

Re: Refused British Citizenship for child!

I'm sure I had attained PR prior the child's birth. The Passport Office even confirmed that documents show that I exercised the Treaty Rights before the child birth. However, I've been told that they have a new policy to reject children passport application if the parents didn't meet the WRS require...

Re: Refused British Citizenship for child!

Yes, the WRS was issued over 5 years prior to child's birth.
I had worked for 2 employers in my first year year in UK.
I had re-registered with the second employer so I have both WRS certificates.

Refused British Citizenship for child!

Hello all, I have recently applied for a British Passport for my child. I had been in UK for over 5 years before the child was born (therefore holding ILR status). According to the law, the child will have a British citizenship if one of the parents is British or had held the ILR status before the c...
