Re: Dependants - changing new employer

Hi, Can someone help with this please? I have quite the same question. My current visa runs out on 2018. I am changing my sponsor and the new visa will expire on 2020. My wife is my dependent. Does she have to apply at the same time as me or she can apply for a dependent visa anytime before 2018 to ...

How to see expired adverts on Universal Jobmatch website?

Hi

A job for which I have received an offer had to be re-advertised for another 14 days to meet RLMT. The first advert appeared on Universal Jobmatch website and now has expired.

Is there a way to access the expired ads on this website?

Many thanks

Re: RLMT - When the ads and CVs are assessed?

u need unrestricted cos, so rlmt is checked after issuing of cos. at assigning of cos. what job is it. some jobs are exempt rlmt for nhs for some years, not sure if that period is run out now or not. they can apply afterwards as well.. u will need to have maintenance if they apply afterwards. RLMT - When the ads and CVs are assessed?

Hi All, I am on a Tier 2 G visa now. I have been offered a new job with NHS which was initially advertised for 14 days. In order to meet RLMT, they are going to advertise it for another 14 days. I believe, as a part of the RLMT, the employer will need to provide Home Office with the details of job a...

Re: Extending before my current visa expires

Option 1: You cannot extend your VISA at the moment. You have to wait until 28 days beofre your current Tier-2 VISA expiry date Option 2: Find another Tier-2 Sponsor and you can apply for Tier-2 G again. Thanks tckraju for the reply. Is there anywhere in the Tier 2 Guidance that clearly states/expl...

Re: Extending before my current visa expires

Thanks Poper for the reply. As you said, it is not clear that who is gonna be affected by that change and how that will affect the experienced salary for different job titles. That's why I am trying to extend my visa before the new rules become effective. However, I need to know first if I am eligib...

Hi I am on Tier 2 General visa which is valid till 2018 which was granted in Feb 2015 for 3 years based on the "new entrant" salary threshold. There are some rumors going around about an increase in salary limits for experienced workers. Now half way through my initial 3 years, my salary m...

Re: Switching from Tier 2 Dependent to Tier 2 General

Hi iworker Thanks for your response Every time I call UKVI helpline I get more disappointed on them. This time because my wife has to apply from outside the UK, they gave us another number which costed £1.35 per minute. We called that number too and also called to the visa centre outside the UK that...

Re: Switching from Tier 2 Dependent to Tier 2 General

Hi CR001 Thanks for your reply. Is this stated anywhere in the GOV website that the current visa will remain valid? Can you please direct me to the document? Her job is in the shortage occupation list so I believe RLMT is not required. We have been living in the UK for 7 years now and are planning t...

Hi all I am on a Tier 2 General Visa valid till Feb 2018 and my wife is my dependent. She works for a company who are happy to get her Tier 2 General visa too. Re: Career Break - NHS to Postdoc

assuming that post doc will be considered as an employment and you will be issued a cos for tier 2, u will need to apply for tier 2 for new employer. Once u are done with them, the original employer, providing they are happy to re-employ u, will need to issue u a new cos after doing rlmt. Thanks fo...

Re: Urgent - Medical Equipment Technician

Frontier,

Many thanks for your reply. Yes, the role is Band 5. Do you mean band 5 roles for NHS will be considered as NQF 6 even if in the codes of practice it is in a lower level?

And thanks for the other code, i will look at it as well.

Hi, This is my first post here in the immigrationboards.com and I hope you guys can help me. I am applying for Tier 2 for a Band 5 Engineering role. The minimum salary for my job title is £23,800 as a new entrant. My basic salary is £21,500 with a London allowance of around $4,200 which makes it £25...
