There should be no reason why an immediate decision cannot be reached for a spouse visa. The staff at that embassy sound dispicable. As a contrast, a British friend of mine married his Mexican girlfriend in Mexico. They phoned the British embassy in Mexico City to organise an appointment for the spo...

Entry clearance confers leave to enter so an immigration officer cannot turn someone away who has a visitors visa unless there are reasons to suspect the visa was obtained by deception or fraud.

No, you can visit Germany (schengen area) 3 times and stay 10 days each time. If you visit the Schengen area 3 times and stay 30 days each time, your total time spend within the schengen area will be 90 days within 3 months , which means you are in breach of your visa, seeing that your visa allows ...

The validity of your visa is not dependant on you still working for your firm. As long as you meet the normal entry requirements for Spain there is absolutely no reason why you cannot enter Spain for tourist purposes using a business visit visa. By the way, I have visited Spain many times and my exp...

The visa is permission for you to enter Spain and has got nothing to do with your employer.

There is nothing stopping you from using the Schengen visa as long as it is valid.

So sorry, you can't bring a slave, sorry, employee from Pakistan to work for you.

I've done my time at the French embassy too, but they are a slick, well-oiled machine compared to the Spanish! If you ever go in person to the Spanish embassy in London, you will see the worst stereotypes of Spanish bureaucracy in action, from the greasy-haired chain smoking security guard all the w...

Re: EU family member is required lot of things to get visa

As I wrote in another post , I am in the process of getting a visa to travel to Slovakia (I'm peruvian, my wife is slovak) for the purpose of permament residence. The consul in Mexico (where we finally asked for visa cause the consul in Argentina is not available for one month) have sent us a serie...

Hi ya Unfortunately if that's the date they give then that's the date! There's nothing you can do get an earlier appointment. You can try one of the visa agencies, I've personally used the one below: http://www.theschengenoffice.com/ I think you'll find though that you have left it way too late, eve...

I have no doubt that the Home Office must receive thousands of these sorts of revenge complaints and they must surely treat them with the contempt they deserve, they definitely do not have the resources to investigate every complaint from a jilted spouse! Certainly much more evidence would be needed...

There may be random checks by the police but there are certainly no fixed formal immigration controls. They would simply not be politically acceptable to people living on both sides of the border. I would be more concerned by the proposal to implement passport checks between Northern Ireland and mai...

There is absolutely no requirement to file a EEA1 application if you don't want to. This is simply a certificate confirming your residence in the UK. It is not at all compulsory and most EU citizens never apply for it.

If you want to live permanently here all you have to do is get on a plane.

You don't need permission to live in the UK as an EU citizen so I'm not sure why you are talking about being "allowed" to live here and having "permission to rent".

Err, help you with what? The website quite clearly states that these credits will not count as recourse to public funds, so what more do you need to know? It's pretty clear cut in black and white!
