Re: Ceremony Date change

Not surprised. That's the tactics. The have no reason not to conduct ceremony sooner for you. They need your funds. The moment you indicate you want private, someone becomes readily available to conduct the ceremony. Then you ask yourself, so not like there is no one to conduct it but they need take...

Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

That's saddening. 5 months after application you are being asked if you have done your biometrics. It goes on to show the quality of service they offer and the level of incompetence at display. The good side of the email is that you have someone looking at your application now and that may quicken y...

Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

We all have to keep waiting. I made a request for update in May and got this typical response "Your application is currently progressing through the system as normal". Hopefully soon, they will remember it's a paid application and not free application. While not forgetting that their lame ...

Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

It's just ridiculous on how they take funds off people and provide a crap service. Using covid-19 as lame excuse. The whole country is out and about, lock down eased yet still no improvement in service. We have no choice than to wait for as long as it takes them to process our applications. Terrible

Re: UKVI survey email before decision

I have received survey email twice now. First one was a week ago and second one today. Suggesting I should take survey in response to how quick the decision on my application was. And survey ends 3rd of May. I haven't received any approval confirmation. I noticed my biometric card changed to records...

Re: Can I apply for Naturalisation With Less Than 12 Months on ILR ( Non- British Spouse)

I was thinking that for each of the 5 points stated as long as you meet one or more of those points then discretion can be applied. The first 4 points are very clear with no compelling or compassionate wordings attached to it. Only point 5 does have it. I doubt if the discretion waiver existed befor...

Re: Can I apply for Naturalisation With Less Than 12 Months on ILR ( Non- British Spouse)

Thanks for your response. I think your statement refers to the last point on the waiver guidance. What about the other points that has nothing to do with arguments or compelling or compassionate reasons?. I'm only trying to get a better understanding of the waiver and then weigh my options before ap...

The new Guidance update allows for waiver on less than 12 months on ILR. Reason I asked the question.

Re: Can I apply for Naturalisation With Less Than 12 Months on ILR ( Non- British Spouse)

The question is in the topic headline. I have less than the 12 months (9 Months precisely) on ILR. Trying to understand the guidance only then can I pick which of the waiver applies to me.

Can I apply for Naturalisation With Less Than 12 Months on ILR ( Non- British Spouse)

I came across this guidance on UKVI Website. Applicants under section 6(1) who have not been free from immigration time restrictions for 12 months Applicants under section 6(1) of the 1981 act are also required to have been free from immigration time restrictions for the remainder of this period. Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

@Zee Ali. Thanks for your response. My first PLAB visa application was made online, normal business visitor visa. And for extension it is stated on the UKVI website that the FLR O Form is required. Reason why I am worried is because non of my mates received such letter despite using the same form. I...

Re: FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

Hi... I made an application for leave to remain as a doctor taking clinical attachment on FLR O form (8H-other purposes) before the expiry of my current PLAB Visa (Dec 11, 2014). I received Biometric letter with ECHR letter stating that my case is complex and raises human rights issues and as such w...
