Re: Dual citizen - name change and UK passport renewal

what does a deed poll work for anymore then. if you are allowed to change a name by the deed poll and is accepted by government agencies hence HMPO should accept it as well. apparently they do not then. they also state how to make a name changing and put the new name on the passport.

Re: Dual citizen - name change and UK passport renewal

Isn't it sufficient to send your british passport only to the passport office for renewals.
i don't see any trouble here it seems to be your friend already has enough evidence in order to use the new name for the future.
please update us the result for future reference.

Re: NEW PASSPORT APPLICATION FATHER NATIONALITY

For the purpose of naturalised citizens and the parents details, it is used to confirm you who you are at the interview. You will be given and opportunity to explain if they ask, which is why I would put a single sentence in Section 8 re German Nationality, but that is what I would do. I cannot see...

Re: NEW PASSPORT APPLICATION FATHER NATIONALITY

Use the correct information. If you use German again then that will be considered as deception. If you are asked about it, you can explain the mistake. It shouldn't really cause an issue as your father's nationality can't change HO's decision as long he is not British. So,u think I should use his n...
