Re: Certified copy of Birth Certificate - is it accepted?

Thank you. That's what I have. The copies that were given during the registration ceremony.

I guess, we're safe.

Certified copy of Birth Certificate - is it accepted?

For the reasons unknown, I only have two official certified copied of my son's Birth Certificate, and no original.

Would they be accepted for his Citizenship Registration, or do I have to double-up on searching for the original (red)?

What if the original is lost?

Thank you in advance.

Sopra Steria appointments

Please suggest what to do as free appointments aren't available. Well, TBH, even paid ones are in short supply. It feels a bit arrogant to charge extra £280-380 for appointments when free ones are all gone. We have just submitted our children British Citizenship applications but biometrics are not a...

Re: MN1 Form current citizenship

Just found your previous responses to similar questions. So yes, a child born to Russian parents has a right to register as a Russian but it does not legally mean that without the registration they are Russian either. I would disagree that on our part, it is neglect. We just don’t execute our rights...

MN1 Form current citizenship

Hi there, I am seeking an advice on how to populate the “citizenship” field in the online form. I hold an ILR. Child was born in the UK before the ILR. Never applied for any citizenships, never travelled outside of the uk. It is a required field, and there’s no option to leave it blank. Also, since ...

Re: Curtailment on resigning from job

there is no contradiction here. Thank you Manci! It's just the language is rather frustrating. Where should we expect the Home Office to serve the curtailment notice? What if my wife and I move out of the company-sponsored apartment before that, and move to a friend of ours or a hotel to wrap-up th...

Approved websites for RLMT

Hi all, I have read the policy guidance, and I can understand that the secondary media for the RLMT are one of the below: website of a national newspaper website of a professional journal website of a prominent or professional recruitment organisation The second one is pretty clear. But can someone ...

Re: Curtailment on resigning from job

Hi Manci, I've come across this thread, and my situation is similar. I plan to prematurely end my employment, and I'm going to notify my employer beforehand. Our HR department will inform UKBA about that most certainly, I would even assume they'll do it beforehand. Does it mean that in my case curta...
