Ten Year Partner Route to ILR

Hi All, I’m on the ten-year partner route since January 16, 2015. Am I right in thinking that I’ll qualify for ILR from December 18, 2024? I will need to do the Life in the UK (LIUK) and English language tests (B1?), correct? Also, are there priority appointments available for the LTR route, or is i...

Yes this is correct application form and there is no obligation to submit financial proof but I did anyway.

Re: family and private life in the UK Extension

No you don’t need to provide English language test or financial proof if you’re applying under FLR FP. This is a generic form, also used by FLR FM applicants that’s why you see this in question.

FLR FP Priority Service

Hello, I hope someone can help with my enquiry, I applied my 3rd extension for FLR FP, obviously things have been changed since last application, so this time I inclined for priority service with decision next day but I can not get an appointment until 21st March and for strange reason can’t get it ...

Re: How to apply for FLR(FP) - desperate for advice

Hi Mark,

You’ve probably used the right form, as far as I remember for FLR M and FP it’s a same form and due to system glitch IHS always comes up with FLR M option by default - as long as you’ve paid the right amount for right period of time, you don’t have to worry about anything.

Good luck

Re: FLR(FP) Early Extension

Hello,

Definitely a valid point and I’ll personally tell everyone to avoid this lol but as it can cause a shortfall but I only need 20 months where I’ll get visa for 30 months.

I will see how it goes and keep everyone informed.

Re: FLR(FP) Early Extension

Hello, Thanks for your timely response, I saw that it could take up to 90 days to obtain US B-1 visa, I will probably postpone my visit but would there be any problem for me to apply extension around end of February which is about 2 months earlier than expiry date or it have to be last 28 days as I ...

FLR(FP) Early Extension

Hello, I hope someone can help with this rather strange enquiry, My last extension is not due till end of April and I will be eligible for ILR end of December 2024, which means I only need 22 months at least. My work is sending me to USA for 14 days in late April which clashes with my visa extension...

Personally if they attend this wedding they’ll jeopardise their case, also for students best advice can be found from International student office at their own university, because they are up to date with students most recent and full history so they’ll provide you with more accurate and sometime wi...

Re: Best recourse to family's immigration in an extremely difficult situation (domestic abuse & insane NHS bills)?

Yes. The gofundme shall help a bit for her living expenses, but not to the extent of ~£127k for the NHS bills. Can the bills be contested or a waiver be applied on humanitarian grounds? How do they enforce the payment of the bill? Will the child stop receiving treatments? So many questions. I’m sur...

Re: Best recourse to family's immigration in an extremely difficult situation (domestic abuse & insane NHS bills)?

It makes me sad, reading these sort of stories - it’s a long shout but why don’t you try to create gofundme for her ? World is still dominated by good people and maybe they can help her.

I done it a long time ago but to be honest it’s self explanatory. Use categories you think relevant to each document you’re trying to upload.

Re: About refusal entry- because of multiple entry each year

It seems like you’re in a strange mess, talk to your wife and try to cut ties with your mother in law, she can’t just chuck out your parents from their own house. It’s a domestic issue so police won’t be interested nor UKVI.

Good luck with everything.

Re: About refusal entry- because of multiple entry each year

This might be off-topic or might sound a bit aggressive. I would like to ask is there a set limit for how long a family member could stay in the UK under a visitor visa?? or just generally 180 days each year? My mother in law is using her visitor visa to come to the UK for the past 3 years. Recentl...
