As I was going through the papers to prepare my citizenship application I found actually the first letter that my hubby received,dated 06th of August,not 16th as I originally posted...so,I am expecting some kind of news soon after the ceremony,hopefully.Will give them a call tomorrow.

Pyramid stone.. easy on yourself.. i know its frustrating but you got nothing to do but wait.. I think this approval round will be for people from start of august 2014.. and hopefully includes people from earlier who were not lucky I agree..Next round will be for the after August...my hubby applied...

From what I understood by looking at previous post nobody knows for sure.I remember I read about somebody giving them a ring and was told that their file was with the minister and that could take WEEKS and that poster also wandered what WEEKS meant....

I got my approval letter today dated 14/01/2015 , rang them on last tuesday and was told my file has been sent to minister for decision and just after two days i got my letter today , i applied on 14th April 2014 on EU FAM STAMP 4 basis, but i am not going to send them photos , 950 euros and my GNI...

I believe (personal experience) that processing time is much shorter if you apply as spouse of Irish citizen. If I'm at your place, I'll go ahead & apply & once husband get the citizenship, send them a letter with evidence that he has got the citizenship along with signed page from the appli...
