Re: SA302 Required?

I am also in the same boat. I have my appointment this week. I earned as self employed from 2009 to 2013. My return on 2014 was nil and then i closed my account. I tried calling HMRC but they kept me on hold for hours and then disconnected. Even if they issue me my return. The most recent is 2015 w...

Re: Self employed in the Past Applied without SA Statement.

Hi Board Members, I have applied for Naturalisation yesterday. I came to know while filling up AN form that Self Assessment statement is required for those who are working as Self employed. I am working as Employee since last 10 years but once worked as self employed as well when I was on Tier 1. I...

Re: ILR For Child on 10 years long residence

According to your earlier posts, it seems that the child has had a 9-10 months break in continous residence. Is that so? Please elaborate, if so. Thanks for your reply and sorry I forgot to mention that fact.I am thinking to apply for my son and ask them to consider his case using the discretion as...

ILR For Child on 10 years long residence

Hello board members,
Is it possible for a child to apply for ILR using Set(LR) after completing 10 years in UK?
The child was not born here, but already completed 10 years and his father has ILR.

MN1 Confirmation letter

Hi, I've recently received the confirmation letter regarding the MN1 application for my son. They mentioned all the documents I sent in support of the application in the confirmation letter, but didn't mention any thing about old BRP card. Should I write them to inform that I also sent the BRP of my...

Set (F) For Child ILR

Hi Is it possible to make an application for a child who is already present in UK using Set(F) for ILR? My question may be sound like silly, but if you read the Guidelines and go through the Set F form, its quite Confusing. It would be helpful for me if you could guide me according to my Situation: ...

Registering a Child on Form MN1

Hello, I recently got my ILR and want to register my child using form MN1. My child was born in UK and had a dependent visa which expired few months ago. My solicitor told me at the time of sending my ILR application that once I get ILR, I will be able to register him on MN1 and there is no need to ...

Re: Bit Confusing Situation for Child

I think I expressed my views to your husband a while back, as to my take on your case, and I don't believe that view has changed at all. I do remember as he discussed it to me.I maintained almost same grounds for the extension, but few facts I could not deny that we started to live together in 2014...

Re: Bit Confusing Situation for Child

Why do you think they will refuse ? you mentioned 10 years residence, but some breaks, could you elaborate on it? How long was the break and what was the reason for it? I believe registration of your child is likely to fail, especially when you or your husband are not currently applying for Natural...

Re: ILR for a Child on 10 years long residence basis

Your child was not born in UK and therefore the is no means by which he can be registered , as you don't even have ILR yet. The 6 months gap is huge. You could apply under the family and private life rule, FLR (FP), but ILR will be hard. Thank you Obie, Your answers are always relief for us. Just f...

ILR for Minors under 10 year long residence rule

Hello, I understand that for the people who are above 18 years, the 10 years stay must be legal and without gaps in order to apply/get the ILR. Is this same for the children who were not born here? If there is a gap of few months in their valid visas due to the problems with their father's visa, wil...
